You never created or owned the name Bluebell. It's not yours. It doesn't belong to you. The ame way Hiccup, Astrid, and anything else you reference in your story isn't yours. Those characters are owned by Dreamworks and Cressida Cowell. And you didn't even use a disclaimer, so that's just being hypocritical.

Anyways, you can't go saying that any story that uses the name Bluebell is plagiarism. For one, it's a name, anyone could come up with it. And even though the chance of someone using the exact same name on the exact same character is low, it could still happen, unitentionally. That's not plagiarism, and you can't go making claims that it is without proper evidence. I thought it was common sense but apparently not. Your little rant at the end just seemed childish and petty.

I had forgotten how much I love this story. Rereading it is like running into an old friend that you haven't seen in ages. I can't tell you how happy I am that it is still posted.

It's not plagiarism if you give credit where it is due. People don't have to ask you. If you have any questions the Harvard website outlines what is considered plagiarism.

You're rant is kinda offputting and extreme though. You can't claim an entire story is plagiarism because it has used a name without permission. Sure, in the broadest sense of the word, taking a word without citing the source is plagiarism, but the entire story is not plagiarism because of that. In that definition, any fanfiction, at all, is plagiarism. Should it all be treated as such?
