Aw, so adorable. There would obviously be a lot to sort out after AC- I'd never truly considered the effect that Cloud's 'death' would have on Tifa. This was very sweet- I enjoyed the Yuffentine hint also. Nice job. :)
Toriga-Okami chapter 1 . 3/30/2010
*Kyaa!* I love it! And you got the emotion so well in this! I could have cried because it's so GOD! I think Tifa really would have been like this after AC(C) and it probably wouldn't be so fine and dandy straight afterwards as many fics tend to put it as, so I must say, this is becoming one of my favourite stories! I love it! And the rest of your writing as well! I absolutely love them, you're such a talented writer! I cannot get over that fact! And you manage to churn out so much in one chapter! I always run out of things to write by about 3,0 words xD

I'm gonna read every one of your Cloti fics I have just decided, so look forward to a load of reviews xD *Squee!*
Seelenspiel chapter 1 . 3/30/2010
such a beautiful oneshot thanks for posting it~
shinobinaraku chapter 1 . 3/30/2010
Rude and Barret are like two awesome older brothers Tifa never had. I thought the Turks wore blue suits though.

Cute! I liked the ending. It was good without the smut! :)

Update LG soon! I'm dying to read another chapter. Grr!

This is very nice, ValNinja. Back to the basic emotion/event for me...the game story is so complex with battles and journey, falling apart and putting together...but for me, not being a gamer, it is the matter of trust between the people we all love that drives my interest. Who do they trust when everything is dangerous, changing, and untrustworthy. The building up of trust between the conflicted Cloud and all of Avalanche, them learning to trust him even though he is far from stable...Vincent consenting to learn about being with people at all in any sort of way, Yuffie growing up with broken people... And Cloud and Tifa somehow finding a life together. They also have to learn who they are individually-and maybe that's what I've not paid enough attention to heretofore. Their separation because Cloud up and left was a terrible thing and I've always seen it that way. But they each had to/got to evaluate who they were and what they wanted/needed-so maybe I can view it as a beneficial though painful event. A rite of passage. They could never really love each other fully until they learned who they could be apart. They were crutches propping each other up until they were forced to be strong on their own. One could argue that Cloud wasn't strong on his own, but I think he grew to be-more than I would have thought before your little story. He became strong because he realized how broken he was, how much he needed his companions and family. He was not a Lone Ranger. And when he was forced to see that they needed him he DID reinsert himself-albeit kicking and resisting at first-into their lives. I knew this intellectually, but not deep in my heart. I've always been in a rush to get to the bedroom stuff (the HappyEverAfter)-that was MY need. I'm glad you made me re-appreciate the journey to get there, which was THEIR need. Cheers! mc

*Dreamy sigh* I'll never get tired of these two.

I really enjoyed how -casual- this was. I mean, the interactions were very natural. I loved the Rude bit-I've a soft spot for him.

Anyways, another wonderfully written piece! Thanks a lot for sharing 3.
