Creepy yet Lovely
| Lady President Romana chapter 1 . 7/10/2011
“Would I lie?”
Yes. Yes you would.
Not a Dracula fangirl, but you really captured his motivation.
I liked the backstories about the brides. I could picture Marishka being a nun, and then Dracula breaking her, and Aleera being a feisty, fiery girl.
Good job, look foreward to reading more from you.
| PlusSizeAngel chapter 1 . 1/27/2011
Such lovely little story. Marishka was a nun? Wow!
| The Lovelorn Angel chapter 1 . 1/16/2011
Beautiful. What else can I say? It's simply glorious, I love it. I love how tragically true it is, how poetic it is, how sadistic Dracula is. Ah, I just love it all. You are a genius. :)
| Black Jinx chapter 1 . 10/9/2010
Part of (majority) me says yes, but there is an obnoxious little voice in the back of my mind that screams "think bitch, THINK!"
I must say that this is the BEST Van Helsing fanfic I have found EVAH!
| Zydrate Infused Lies chapter 1 . 7/21/2010
it was amazing how you tought of that its so poetic!
| DaughterOfStarlight chapter 1 . 6/12/2010
Lovely. The Devil's perpective is always interesting, isn't it? You represented Dracula perfectly.
| Celtic Aurora chapter 1 . 4/23/2010
Wow-I really like that. It really captures the essence of Dracula extremely well-but then again, you always do a really good Dracula
Great job with this little one-shot! :D
| BleedingCrimson chapter 1 . 4/22/2010
Oh My Holy Wow! I so absolutely love this, Dracula is so in character and is equally seductive and persuassive. I love this story!
| Angels in Parachutes chapter 1 . 4/11/2010
Hey there, I liked this one-shot a lot.
I thought it was very bewitching, the descriptions and emotions expressed were very haunting and beautiful.
The way you captured that aspect of Dracula's character was flawless - how is behaviour and mannerisms are always sugar-coated and gentlemanly to those around him but hidden underneath is the true, sinister motivation.
'The Dolls' for a title was a very artistic play on words and the story behind each bride was insightful - I can picture Marishka starting out as an innocent nun then the Count making her become rotten and wicked.
The rhetorical question it this piece was finished with was a nice touch. The answer of course being a resounding yes. :P But for most of us who just melt at his name, we'd probably like to think the answer was no.
Thanks for posting this and I look forward to more of your work!
Are you planning on writing a full story with Dracula, just out of curiousity...
| Karlan chapter 1 . 4/7/2010
"Would I lie?"
Surely you would, you bloody bastard!
It was awesome. You pictured that sick, twisted, evil -but still, so damn hot -bastard so perfectly, that I just have no words. I am totally amazed.
