Oh, Bella. She has a lot on her plate.

I like that Bella and Rosalie are opening up and becoming friends. Rosalie made a brave move to get what she wants out of life. Hopefully, Emmett will rise to the occasion to be that man she needs.

Bella is going to have to make a similar decision to find her happiness. She has finally admitted to another person without guilt that she is breaking up with Jay when she gets back, and thanks to Rose, she knows Edward is seriously interested in her.

I can understand Bella’s need to stay focused on what she needs to do and not get entangled with Edward. I just don’t think it will be that easy, especially with her new dress and the rehearsal dinner to come.

Nah, I don't think Bella should break up with Jay in a text message, though I can understand why some may feel that way after his text at the party. Despite everything, he deserves to be told face to face.

I’m glad the guys ended up at the same bar as the ladies since they were all getting drunk and didn't see the jerks that were capable of causing them harm.

It's good Edward was there to give that creep his walking papers and escort Bella safely back to her room. I loved Bella and Edward's flirting and that he didn't cross that line, even though he was tempted. Bella may have a boyfriend, but Edward left Bella plenty to consider.

The relationship between Emmett and Rosalie was an interesting sub-plot.

I like that Edward found out from his friends that Bella had a boyfriend. It gave him a chance to regroup and show her that he was about more than just the physical. He wanted to get to know her and be friends.

Angela really saved Alice’s wedding by noticing the changing weather and thinking about the guests who haven’t arrived. Thankfully, Alice was able to rally the wedding party to call and redirect her relatives and friends to ensure their safe and timely arrival.

I loved Bella’s awkward moments around Edward when he followed her out and apologized about last night. It’s good she made an effort to participate in the discussion when he tried to get to know her, even though she’s not ready to speak about Jay or how satisfied she was with life there.

Oh my! The attraction between Bella and Edward was hot. She can try to deny it, but everyone saw it.

I’m glad Bella was able to tell Alice about her problems with Jay. It looks like Alice might help her see that she deserves more. Alice’s reaction to her exchange with Edward might be what Bella needs to consider the possibility of something happening there.

I love Bellarina’s kinship with Colonel and Mrs. Brandon and that story of how he achieved that rank.

Oh, poor Bella! How unfortunate that Jay ended up such a disappointment, especially since he helped her through the death of her father. She probably should have stayed with her instinct, and not let her friends talk her into a relationship with him. Hopefully, she can rid herself of the guilt after this trip and break up with him.

Love how Bella and Edward saw each other at the baggage claim of the airport. The greeting and gesture were so sweet.

This has been on my TBR list forever.

Great opening. The lead characters are well developed and I’m curious about what happens next.

Wonderful story. Bella’s struggle with feeling suffocated by Jay really resonated with me. I understand that she was traumatized and needed to do certain things her way and as frustrating as it is for an outsider, it’s her process. She probably needed actual therapy though but I’m certainly glad she had such an understanding and supportive partner in Edward. Wonderful story.

I can so relate to what Bella is going through with Jay. It’s so hard to come to a decision that you need to leave someone but it’s even harder to pull the damn plug.

I still think edward was wrong to leave so quickly and for Alice to truly not support Bella. Getting the call from Aro was a big deal, she was right to take the meeting even if before speaking with Edward about it. Again she is the one apologizing for not realizing sooner what she wants, well they should apologize to her for agin making her sacrifice her choices to appease their egos.

i already had a feeling i'd love this story because it was written by you, and i was not disappointed. there were moments when bella had truly frustrated me but she needed to come to certain conclusions on her own, even if the answers were right in front of her the whole time. you truly have a gift for writing and i hope you have continued to do so.
