| Sable du Lac chapter 3 . 7/17/2010 As stated in the bleach wiki hollows can devour the souls of both the dead and the living. For instance: The hollow that attempted to eat Ichigo's sister would have eaten her whole body. It is unnecessary to remove the soul for consumption. |

It seems that naruto is going to try to gain more power to get into this army so he can get his revenge and maybe go back to his world to get his revenge on them as well if it does not take him 100 years to do it as I think that would defeat the purpose of him doing so.
