Now that that's out of the way, this is a frighteningly realistic depiction of the struggle of mental illness, especially those so bad that the sufferer must be committed.

The fact that you know you're sick and really shouldn't be and people are afraid of you or pity you or hate you for something out of your control really makes the nicer delusions better than reality sometimes. (I don't have a mental illness but they run on both sides of my tree...)

Go Iroh! And this also makes sense, masters of subjects are rarely the best teachers of the basics...

Oh, this is so sweet. I could actually see them doing this for her! As a disabled person, wheelchair bound not blind, I know what it is to be completely vulnerable because places are not suited for you so this is now my favorite drabble. Thank you.
