That was beautiful.
Tender and delicate and caring and told with such a light touch.

I didn't notice the M-rating when I clicked on the title.
And this being the first M-rated Emma fic I've read combined with me reading this in public, it was more embarrassing than it should be, lol.
Wondefully written, and sent me squealing, hahaha.

...and *this* is how to write a tasteful follow-up to an Austen romance. Very nicely done. A few typos, but never so many as to take away from my enjoyment of this lovely little piece. Thank you for writing!

Thank you very much! This was very tasteful and I think the first story that really a dresses the first time sex for a lady, her anxiety etc.
| EmmeyLeigh chapter 1 . 6/9/2011
This story is so good! It's so well-written- you have Jane Austen's style down to a T- and is suggestive without being pornographic. I can't wait to read your other stories!

I'm just reading Emma for this first time, and because I liked the relationship between Knightley and Emma so much I decided to look for some fanfiction. I was not disapointed with your story. I like how this is smut-ish (it's not nearly as risque as other fics on here) but you were able to keep them pretty much completely in character. It was adorable! I'm definitely favoriting this!
| TheManyFacesofJester chapter 1 . 2/28/2011
THANK YOU! Finally a real Emma story not some lame brained, "Original" story that has absolutly NOTHING to do with Emma. This is just what I have been looking for. Very excellent! Brilliant even! Emma fans everwhere are thanking you!
| CocoRocks chapter 1 . 1/4/2011
Aww this is so cute and interesting. please continue soon.

how beautifully and tenderly written! and how discerning to approach this subject shied away from at the time for the mistaken belief that ignorance and innocence are the same; and this brings home how often the myth that the physical side of marriage is faintly repugnant to a woman must have been reinforced by a rather abrupt introduction to it. that George is so much older and more continent than a young man is such a significant point.

Such a sweet story! I finally got to read about Mr Knightley's feelings - and he just .. made my heart melt Emma is indeed a lucky girl *envious*. Keep writing, you're really good, I was touched x3.
| DaniWilder chapter 1 . 9/9/2010
I just stumbled across this and it is very well done. The sweetness of Mr Knightly and the insecurity of Emma are captured so well.
Bravo! Great Job!

I had read this when it was first published, but did not submit a review... now that I'm reading it, I found it beautifully written and probably accurately described what Emma, the new bride, would have experienced both in mind and body! The only thing that I still have to overcome is Mr. Knightley's "worldliness" in his knowledge of carnal matters...for I have always prefer Emma to be his "first" in everything! But I do love this story... and all the Emma stories that you have written! I sincerely hope that you will grace us with another Emma story sometime in the future!
