| Crow's Talon chapter 1 . 4/25/2013
It's interesting to see a story taking the POV of Sherry, especially since the little canonical information we have on her comes from Jonathan's POV. The way that you portray her as viewing him is extremely well-written and well-considered, and I like the idea that she had some sympathy towards him, even if it didn't stop her from eventually betraying him. Their relationship in this piece seems almost beautiful in a twisted way, especially how Sherry is the one who envies Crane.
I especially liked this passage: "Sherry has never told Jonathan that she's in awe of him or that she's intimidated by him or that he's too brilliant for a place like Arlen. Part of her wants him to stay this way forever." It gets across both characters and their relationship perfectly, especially the foreshadowing in how Sherry is nervous around Jonathan. Your expansion of Sherry's character is deeply intriguing and adds a lot of meat to a character who is underutilized in fandom. She has a great deal of potential of a character - almost everything that is known about her in canon comes through Crane, who is no doubt bitter and angry about the situation, and the idea that their relationship was more complex than is seen in canon is a very good one.
Excellent work, and thank you for writing this fantastic piece.

Very sweet. This makes Sherry much more interesting than the simple mean girl she was in the comics. And she offers a good narrator to describe how awesome Jonathan is.
