|Reviews for The Interview|
| Teri1 chapter 8 . 12/4/2013
I read your fic and was really refreshing, sweet and interesting.
I felt myself in spock'shoes when he went to interview, so dissapointed, so useless and a little crashing of your ilusions.
Also so caring for his mother, that was very sweet.
Finally so human because he really doesn't wish to die and enjoy the life.
Really great story. Thank you for write it.

The double point of views is an interesting and fun twist on the plot. I am overjoyed with this short one (although its chapters are quite lengthy, in the best of ways) fanfiction. I eagerly await to read the next one (as soon as time permits)

It ended there?! Noooo...! On to the next? I loved Natalie and Pike's banter. And Natalie's inner monologue. I was actually rather shocked she didn't out Spock and Nyota to Pike, actually...

| wotumba1 chapter 1 . 6/13/2013
LOL when spock said he didn't deem it necessary to read the summary i figured something along the lines of having to do with the original project...
| Jean chapter 8 . 6/11/2013
I loved this!
| Bethany chapter 8 . 5/28/2013
;A;; that was inCREDIBLE and nothing i try to say here can do it justice! yeek! i just- oh god, the way you get into characters' heads and make them so real... your spock makes me want to cry, the way you write uhura has made me fall in love with her, and you write them together so beautifully. One of the most wobderful things about your stories is how tenderly you treat the characters and the universe; i feel like you have a sincere affection for them which really shines through in your work.
this was fantastic, anyhow. i'm not going to pretend that my stomach didn't lurch when spock picked up the bomb!

Reading after a hiatus from this series is like revisiting old friends. And reading about the explosion from yet another vantage point still doesn't get old. How do you do that?
| Guest chapter 8 . 1/8/2013
I enjoyed reading this. You piqued my curiosity with Natalie's possible motivations.

More on this story please. I have read it at least a dozen time and its as good the first time.
| TroysMom09 chapter 7 . 9/30/2012
I can not say anything everyone else has said, but just good job. I had a hard time liking Nyota and Spock just seemed so helpless and downtrodden to me. You have really made me appreciate seeing them grow as people and I admire that. Thank you.

Hi I am slightly confused after reading this first chapter, I thought Spock had worked with and was friends with Pike from the other stories?
| kansolencore LJ chapter 1 . 4/4/2012
I thought I might "pause for the cause" and write you an review. For starters, I'm very new to this fandom. The tv channel FX has been playing Star Trek back to back for like 2 weeks now and like any fangirl would, my interest was piqued by the whole five seconds of romance in the film. Go figure. The first story of yours that I read was "People Will Say" and the formatting was inspirational to me. Seriously, I loved how you handled the differing perspectives and your staggering technique for progressing the story forward. From there I was hooked in a very bad way, and I've seen made my way from top to bottom (excluding WWTWK b/c I like surprises) obsessing over your work. This started like, idk, maybe four days ago? I'm going to be so sad when I finish everything, but I've been scouting your favorites, so hopefully I'll find something equally brilliant there. I think my favorite piece so far has to be TWYM. The ending was too perfect and you balance the emotional wispy-ness of the piece with the starkness of the action so well. I can't catalog any of your pieces as romance or drama or action (which is delightful) because it has it all in equal parts. Truly, I'm really enjoying reading your working and find myself thinking about the vignettes you've written (Spock and tomatoes, Uhura's ripped dress, the flashes to U/S first romantic encounter, Chris T. stories, etc.) and just being in awe of the liveliness and verisimilitude of them. True Fact: I've even journaled some of your themes. I find them to be that significant and personable. Anyway many heartfelt thanks to you. My criticisms are so inconsequential that I feel crazy telling you, because really...they're dumb. First, in chapter 6 of a story? there are a ton of extra hyphens; kind of like your beta deleted some stuff on Word. Second, I think Dream Weavers is before OaF because S/U aren't bonded. It kind of made me sad to (unintentionally) read them out of order. Lastly, your dialogue tags are really chaotic and IMHO could go for some standardization. See? Really small things that are this close to being trivial. Enough of that. I'm going to finish the Interview and be amazed at your sublime characterizations, delicate prose, and suspenseful plots. :D
Wow. I'm like so close to 10000 characters. Go me!
And never stop writing.
