Well, I can't say I was sad to see the end of Grey, especially as it gave Tony a bit more time to gather his remaining strength and take out Acker. It wasn't graceful, but it worked. I loved Imee to the rescue and how she guarded Tony.

Now Tony just needs to hang on a bit longer so he can wake up and thank Imee for her help.

*eep* At least now we know who the third guy was and why the first operation failed. And yes, a dead senator will definitely bring unwanted scrutiny to Grey's affairs.

But that gunshot... Did Tony somehow dodge the bullet? Will Gibbs and Vance get there in time to arrest (or preferably shoot) Acker and Grey? How did Acker end up involved with Grey in the first place?

Heee, devious Tony, what a place to hide his notes! I liked that McGee acknowledged Tony's skills to himself, as well as the fact that it's not something he can ever learn to do.

I can't say I'm sad to see the ignominious end of Senator Reinhart, especially given that he didn't have good things planned for Tony if he found him. I'm sure Vance will see that, even if it does give him some headaches with SecNav etc.

*eep* Hang in there, Tony!

Gibbs and Vance are on the trail, but how close is Tony's burnt out rental to Tony himself? Will Imee reach a house? Will she remember who to call?

What's next for Tony? If Grey and co. find him, it's not going to be good for him, but he's not much better off in that freezing forest with a bad head wound, an injured leg and only a t-shirt.

I've been a very bad reader and lost track of this fic for awhile, despite a heap of alerts in my inbox! But what a chapter to come back to!

Poor Tony. No, your skull should definitely *not* do that squishy thing! This is not good and Tony's alone with no back up and no one who knows where he's even gone.

I'm glad Vance is turning out to be a good guy here, actually worried about Tony and trying to trace his phone. He'll have to come clean to Gibbs, though, which won't be pretty.

Has Tony done enough, though, to at least keep Grey and co. from finding him and the girl? He's still in a bad way with a young girl to look after in freezing weather, but at least not having the bad guys on his trail would give him some small leeway...

Well, I for one am hooked on this story. Just when you think you have all the angles figured out there's a new twist. Can't wait for the update.

Wow, how stupid are the members of the NCIS fandom including you! Some time ago as payback for really mean reviews, to drum up interest in my fics and as a bit of a joke some friends and I started posting critical reviews under various names but mostly RAAA - Readers Against Arrogant Authors. We didn't think anyone would pay that much attention to them as they were clearly troll reviews but the over reactions (disabling anon. reviews, posting notes on stories/profiles, fics. defending me. and pms) of site members have been truely hilarious to read so we kept it going. You all fail cyber commonsense 101.

It's been too easy and now I'm moving on. You've been successfully trolled. ;-0
