Fey Becker chapter 1 . 8/27/2013 You made me wibble like mad |
eekz chapter 1 . 5/15/2013 I am experiencing a very strange and uncomfortable urge to *squee* at the moment. It's that last line, I think, and how well you drove the point of "against all odds ever." Wonderful story - thank you for writing it! :) |
Project Crescent a.k.a. X5 714 chapter 1 . 6/20/2010 I wish this was Dominic's fate, good story. |
emptyword chapter 1 . 5/20/2010 This is PERFECT. And with the perfect line to cap it off: "It's all biology, random decisions, a pointless and senseless assortment of cells, but at the moment it feels like fate." I really, really like this. I like that it's coming from the perspective of someone who is so very ordinary, so very practical and down-to-earth. Dominic wasn't a Doll, and while he wasn't exactly removed from key story events, his iron-clad pragmatism afforded him almost a bystander's detachment. And to have him witness this woman and this race of people walking out of darkness and into the light reinforces the miracle of the moment, reinforces the faith that the core of humanity will triumph - which is everything that scene and this show meant to me. Also, "The sound that used to mean shit, the radio's broken, but which had earned the much more horrible I'm about to be printed connotation over the years." - Excellent detail. Really, quite a load of excellent details packed into 1000 words. I really liked this. In case I wasn't clear. :) Thanks for sharing! |
puretype chapter 1 . 4/19/2010 This is stunningly beautiful. I always enjoyed the interaction between these two, and you nailed their characterization. |
Unifred chapter 1 . 4/15/2010 Fic simply magnificent, I simply do not have words how much. Adele and Dominic have turned out very much in character, and the end simply fascinating spirit. You simply good fellow. |
