Honestly, I never liked the ending of that episode. It just didn't seem . . . I don't know. I just wasnt seeing a lot of emotion or even a good story. Well, there's only so much you can put in 45 minutes, right?
Anyways, after reading this I'm glad to say I found the ending to take a whole different meaning and Ill never regret reading this. XD haha. Seriously, though! I was totally angry that such an awesome show am had such a . . . Dull ending. You know? I totally love this! You really put things into depth.

I adore this fanfiction. I've always found Jules cute, but not really cared about her as much as I cared about Shawn. You got into her brain, though, and made her so HUMAN and 3D. Your stream of consciousness was brilliant and hooking, your angst perfectly balanced to make her despair come across without overwhelming the reader. The subtle nuances really helped along the story, and everything about her friendship with Lassiter was so YES.

You need to write more fanfiction like this, though I shall surely reread this one MANY a time.

I've given up on a number of fanfics that are supposed to take place during the Clocktower Hug, because they don't add anything that isn't already on the screen. This one, though, gives voice to Jules, in all its sloppy, messy glory. I like that you remember that being respected and treated as professional is important to Jules (it's why she left Miami, after all, because she wasn't being respected by her fellow officers). The last line is perfect.

Fantastic story! You did an amazing job of capturing the sheer amount of emotional and psychological stress that Juliet is under, having just survived an extremely harrowing near-death experience. You completely nailed the perfect balance of Juliet's strength and maturity with her very human need for support at the moment. She comes across so fantastically *human* that I find myself wanting to hug her along with Lassiter.

This does a wonderful job of showing how tough it can be to maintain a Professional facade - and how important it can be to a person to maintain it, especially when said person is a woman in a field like police work. And of capturing just how much it helps to have someone there who's a partner as well as a friend.

Hey, just had to review to say how much I liked this. It seems like every Yin aftermath fic I've read has Juliet pissed off at Shawn for not choosing her, like, he actually did something wrong and now he has to show her how he loves her or something, and I thought this was just so much more realistic. There's a bit in there about Shawn, but also about how she almost died, and everything just seemed very balanced and well done instead of screechy and weird. I especially like the list of TV actors-I like them too! Juliet has good taste. And the Lassiter-Juliet friendship stuff is nice. I about melted at the finale. Well done.

I like how you bring out Juliet compartmentalizes and how professional she is even though she doesn't express it the same way Lassiter does. And how she isn't upset about Shawn not coming, she's upset about almost dying. Kind of an immediate priority issue that a lot of the Mr. Yin fics seem to lack. Nice job on this.
