Amazing story! very well written. looking forward to an update..

great story! i just noticed that about halfway through, while harry is going as "francis", some of his classmate call him "harry"

"What's wrong, Harry?" asked one girl.

"Did something happen?"

"Everything's alright back home, right?"

"Did someone do something to you, Harry?"

I need to tell you that you do a remarkable job of adding depth to all of your characters... while doing short blurbs about their lives. There are many layers to a person, and even the tiniest details of a person's behavior can lend a lot of credibility to their persona's.

I like how you write about political turmoil. It seems as real as some of the things that HAVE happened.

I am enjoying watching Harry's rise to power! Keep up the good work!

Excellent. I think this story is much more mature than you Dark Wars series... It shows a maturation of your writing skills. And I'm looking forward to the extra skills you have gained since finishing the dark wars.

This story will definitely be brilliant. The magical portion of this prologue though was definitely small... Anyway from the fuel gems... I sense the showing of Airships! :P... Very cool.

I also hope the old fashioned magical society isn't simply utterly obliterated in this fic. With so much fractionalization in Europe, I hope Harry will actually have to look through and manipulate the currents of old fashioned Britain... A marriage alliance or something, ridiculously barbaric by modern terms... With France might be fun... Not having this contract romantic at all would be even better... A wife that he simply puts away in a home somewhere... On the road toward his Throne.

Now that is one of the longest chapters you've ever written. It was great. I loved reading about the way Harry set about fulfilling his goals. It's too bad he had to keep things with Ellie in an unofficial level. I knew from the moment he met her that they'd have a romantic relationship. I just hope they don't change in the future but then war can really change you. I do wonder why her family name started as Hughes and then was suddenly Eisenheim.
I would like to know more about Harry's sister. With Lizzie as a nickname, I bet she's Elizabeth. I found it amusing that his brother's name is William. Royal first names like Prince Charles' kids but in reverse order. I hope you update soon.

By the way, I forgot. I know you love Ginny (can't phantom the reason, no offense), but please, can you tell me if she is going to end up with him somehow, so I can prepare myself to loosing Elicia. I personally heavily dislike Ginny, but your story is promising and I'll kepp reading notheless, but it'll help a lot XD.

Having read this, I have a few questions, but I'll ask the most important: WHY THE FUCK DOESN'T THIS HAS MORE REVIEWS? This is amazing. I looks like the beginning of something epic. I was afraid this would be slash, but this chapter crushed that and made me love this even more. I was also scared that with Harry being intelligent, he would end with Hermione, as if that girl was the only intelligent girl in the series, so thank you for Elicia Maria Eisenheim and destroying one of the most stupid and utterly distasteful cliches.

Personally, I agree with Sirius and William. They should be together, even married. It's curious, I know a couple (one of them a former teacher) who had those same professions and they are retired with three kids and seven grandkids, so there has to be other reason I guess. Hope you update soon.

Well done here, and glad to see a lot of what it was that led Harry to the point he went to in the prolouge, as well as what it might mean afterwards. I like the Ellie character, and hope that it's her as part of the inner circle. I also liked that the James here seems to be a bit closer to the supposed smart prankster of Hogwarts, and also willing to take on Dumbledore instead of simply rolling over and giving him his neck as it seemd to happen at times in so many fics. Loved the hilarious image of Sirius in the Parliment, and just have this image of him as Zaphod clone from the Hitchiker's series at times, given how over the top he can be. Will look forward to what happens, and if this attack is something being used by other sides to smoke certain folks out, and what might have happened back at Hogwarts, like if Hermione survived, have the DE's taken a lot more or hid in the shadows more and what all that might mean for the Potters as a whole.

Hello, first thing, thanks for updating so quickly , second, i loved this chaper in everyway, the content was great, the story was intriguing and the lenght was perfect, i really wasnt expecting the romantic side of this chapter, but it makes sense , as it serves as an extra motivation for Harry, although maybe be can see the end of the drama at the end of this story, i mean after Harry becomes the Emperor, i would imagine that he wouldnt try to deny himself that pleasure.

I hope that in the next chapter you cover the same years as this one, but from the magical point of view, it would be interesting to see what happened in Britain after the Potters left apart from Dumbledore trying to find them.
