I don't mean to down on your works or anything, but baklava is actually a desert that originated in Turkey. It is popualr in Greece, yes, no denying that, but it would have been a nice touch to add a dish of Greece decent. Thank you for this wonderful story. Although I'm more of a fan of Turkey/Greece even though it is a crack pairing. Ta ta

Well, they've had a generally good relationship since antiquity, but then there were foreign occupations and periods of nationalism that sort of made things a little less smooth. Things are all good again, thankfully :D
This is terribly adorable. Honey syrup is incredibly sticky, and so it was perfect for the purposes of this fic. It is also incredibly tasty, which also serves to benefit this fic :D
