What a great look into the psyche of Tucka this was! The Hermux books are some ofy very favorites, and it's a shame there's not more people reading them and writing about them.
I enjoyed this little story a lot. Her poor grandma :( I appreciated that your story was easy to read and well-penned. It was a good concept for Tucka's past as well. It really helps to explain why she behaves so outlandishly as an adult. I almost feel sympathetic towards her. Almost ;)

Yes, and then I do believe Hermux went and got himself trouble not long after Tucka said that. :P
Anyway, nice little one shot. Given Tucka's character, it didn't seem too surprising it was these events that led her to become what she was, but at the same time, it's nice to have an explanation of some sort. Viewed this way, it does make sense why Tucka views life the way she does and finds ways to justify it.
Doesn't make it right...
...but Tucka kind of always did have a conscience problem. :P
