The update I've been waiting for! Even if Peter is my least favorite, seeing all 4 Mauraders make an appearance in this one certainly made up for it.

Sirius's parents are jerks, but (assuming he is being completely truthful about their treatment) it sounds like he really is OK. Of course, it's disgusting that his parents are sending him away to not even live with them because of a little mistake, but one has to admit: it could have been much worse. And oh, how my stomach clenches when I remember what they did to him for getting suspended and imagine what could have happened this time.

"Being arrested by aurors was exciting." Don't worry, Pete. Your time will come. Oh the irony of giving Peter the loyal heart...

I loved the "let's-give-James-advice-on-women" section, brief as it was. Listen to Mrs. Lupin, Potter! Don't go pulling Lily's hair!

Peter can be so clueless when it comes to social situations. A person can be winking and nudging all they want and he still won't take a hint! It's probably his greatest weakness, this lack of social empathy and instead only understanding money and prestige. But then, the British do have a bit of a reputation for appreciating class and overall British-ness more than many other European nations, don't they? So perhaps Peter can blame his problems on society ;)

Assuming I'm keeping track of this all right, they're entering their second year, which means this is the year they find out Lupin is a werewolf. Yikes! I've no idea when you'll work that in, but I for one will be looking forward to every Remus chapter from here on out... although I suppose it could happen in anyone's chapter. Actually since it's not a totally canon series, I suppose it could happen whenever... ah well, I want to hear Remus's perspective on the matter :)

aw i always feel sad for peter and, although i absolutely hate him when he's older, i want to give him a big ole hug :) james made me laugh when he was getting distracted by stuff :)
