It's short and simple, and I guess perhaps, the stanzas including Joel and Clementine were sweet, but the other stanzas seem out of place. I like the ending, however, because you are right in saying that simple sentences breathe no complexity whatsoever. I'm at least one who thinks that J/C's love/future should definitely be uncomplicated. Anyways, the stanzas about the doctor, Stan, and Patrick were filler, I felt. But it's a nice poem to present to those who have not watched the movie and, perhaps, get them interested in watching the story. Keep writing for this category. It needs more love.

I like the first and last stanza. The others don't seem to fit to me. Is the stanza in the middle supposed to not rhyme?
This poem basically summed up the entire movie in a sort of blah way (no offense) and that's probably why it didn't seem to have a purpose.
Overall, this poem was okay. It's a shame not may people have seen the movie.
