Alright I can't seem to find this answer anywhere on the internet so I'll just ask you: why does Jenny call hermione "mum"?
And in the dochtor who episode "the stolen earth", Jack salutes to Harriet and also says "mum".
It's suffice to say it probably doesn't mean mother!
So what is it?
| Booklvr.Annie chapter 15 . 10/4/2011
I loved this, very sad at the end. niacin off to read the sequel.
| Naitch03 chapter 15 . 3/29/2011
You know, I really liked the premise behind this story. I even liked most of the story itself, minus the grammatical errors and occasional name mix-ups (it happens). But the one thing I just don't like about this story is that there is no real, satisfactory ending. At all. Even the sequel was a bit of a let-down. I'm really not trying to flame you, but I just need to say this. What happens to Ron and Lavender? For me, it almost seems like Lavender was controlling Ron (he seemed a bit wooden). What was Hermione's revenge? What happens when Harry and the rest of the Weasley's find out what Ron did (was made to do?)? I know Torchwood was an extremely grim show (the ENTIRE original team died by the end of the third series, not counting Gwen, who was a newbie), but there was still a resolution of plot lines when that happened. I hope you come back and write a few more chapters, or even write a one-shot, wrapping up these story lines. This was a brilliant idea that could become a truly brilliant story if it was polished a bit (show more of the rest of the team, more on Hart's courting of Hermione). Also, loved Jenny here.

'"I do know one thing." He nodded towards Jack. "Your daughter is worth dying for, that's certainly one thing."'
Aww, that is so sweet.
I'm looking forward to reading additional chapters. Please try to remember to use a spelling check, grammar check, and a Beta reader or two before submitting your chapters; it will make for an easier and more enjoyable read.

Hermione was one lucky gal to have grown up surrounded by stud-ly specimens of manhood such as Harry, and the Weasley men, of course... poor Jenny for having been deprived of experiencing such a background.
'"Merlin Ron! Put your pants back on!" She shouted so loudly the whole house heard her.'
OMG... too funny. LOL
| TheMoreSmutTheBetter chapter 10 . 7/28/2010
Aww, John, with his leaving gifts/tokens of his admiration on Hermione's doorstep, is like a puppy trying to make up for having piddled or poohed on the carpet.
I got a chuckle out of Hermione having to play hardball with him (John) by tazing him for his refusal to leave the premises (her place of residence).
Jack is a sweetheart to have offered to watch over things while Hermione and Jenny take time off to relax over the Christmas holidays.
| TheMoreSmutTheBetter chapter 9 . 7/28/2010
Hmm, I never considered the possibility that John had maybe fallen in love with Hermione. I thought that he had just gotten off on her playing hard-to-get, you know?
