I LOVE THIS ONE! And I love how he's trying to convince himself he's still human, but he subconsciously drops in references to all the villains he fights, who are (in my opinion) slowly taking away his humanity. Because in order to fight people like them on a nightly basis he HAS to become a monster.
My favorite is "The dent in my soul proves I am human". Not only is it a play on words to reference Harvey Dent, but it also shows how underneath it all, though he can't show it on the job, he really is being affected by his experiences, and is feeling the pain on the inside. But, knowing him, he bottles it up and stores it away to be strong for his city, just as the hero he is should do. Because he is a hero because he chooses to not be defined as a "hero". His actions speak for him.
3 this one!
