I read this entire story over the past 2 days. It was very good, from start to finish. I rarely like 'new characters' in fan fiction, but I adored Angie.

This has made me laugh and cry, clutch my chest in terror and beam with joy. I have no words.

I just read this in entirety. I loved it! While I know the format doesn't fit an hourly tv format I wish that this was the way that season 6 had unfolded. You are a very talented writer. Thank you for the hours of entertainment.

This is my tweet before I went to bed:
TokyoFish2: My ass was up til 5 am today when I should have been sleeping instead of reading this #bones fanfic. Its a must read. s/5933171/41/The_Shadow_on_the_Scene
I really loved this story. I once bypassed it cause I wasn't into stories where Brennan adopts BUT ... I ran out of new things to read and so I hunkered down and started this thing at like 10pm and I was up till 5am (I have to be up to work at 7:45am) and i just couldn't quit until I knew everything and finished this dang thing. I loved it! I really hope you write more! :) Thanks for writing this gem of a fic. Your ability to weave words together amazes me and the Sessions with Sweets just blew me away at how accurate it was and spot on and everything.

I just wanted to let u know that I really enjoyed this story. This is only my second review and I had to write one about this story. This is the second story of yours I have read and I just wanted to let u know how well written it was. I couldn't stop reading it. I am an avid reader and my husband got me hooked on fanfiction because of his favorite show Chuck. I really enjoyed how all the characters from the show were included in this story and I loved Angie. I have to admit I didn't figure out it was Hacker until it was just about revealed. You did a fantastic job. I hope you keep writing and keep up the great work!
| LarissaCJA chapter 41 . 10/30/2011
This is a very good story! It's not all about B&B, but at the same time it is. It has everything I love and want out of a story. It kept me in suspense, it has angst, love, I laughed, cried, tried not to yell at my phone/laptop about certain things, I got angry, etc. It's imo true to the characters. All the things I love about the show is in this story as well.
I don't know about other people, but I didn't really figure out who the serial killer was till the beginning of the chapter where his identity was revealed.
I love Angie! A great character, a great addition!
You really did a fantastic job!
(I hope it made some sense, because I suck at this :p)

Well. 41 chapters and a few hours later (what I had to do other things in between chapters!) and I am in tears. Once again, I must bow to the excellent writing. And once again, tell you that you are perfect at keeping everyone in character.
Oh, and then I have to complain that you made me cry (a single tear here or there. That's ALL! *whistles*) for the last like 10 chapters.
Thanks for another excellent read! I just loved Angie.
| JMHaughey chapter 41 . 8/13/2011
Seriously, how did I miss this?
It is an amazing story
When you referred to Rule #12, I automatically thought, NCIS. Never date a co-worker. HAHAHA

So clearly I took some more time off study! I did do some, but I also read this, and I loved it. The perfect amount of fluff, danger, pain and happy ending. Plus, you're right - Angie is extremely loveable. I fell in love with her, too. If you were still considering revisiting this story, I would highly encourage you! Thanks for the exams luck, and the great stories - just the right things to read in my study-breaks. Certainly much more interesting and fun than the relationship between international and domestic law and it's impact on the interpretation of the constitution!

I would just like to inform you that it's currently three O' clock in the morning, and I have to be up at six, but couldn't manage to stop reading and go to bed, no matter how hard I tried. I will also be squealing all day tomorrow. I place the blame entirely on your shoulders, madam, and I hope you're satisfied.

Wow. So I've just been stalking bunch of you're stories and I really don't have words to say how amazing you are. Damn I wish I could write as good as you. I mean this story. You made the adoption plotline work! I've seen that handled poorly a lot but you did it just right. And omg the characters! You got them all perfectly! Oh and those interludes from a serial killer are about the coolest thing ever! Wow. I don't know how you do it but you're amazing!
| ElizabethDQMW chapter 41 . 5/4/2011
Wow! This story was excellent. You have an amazing gift at story-telling. The voices, moments, actions- all were skillfully executed. You captured the perfect balance of angst/romance/mystery/suspence. The case was just as captivating as the love story. Really great job! Can’t wait to read your new Bones fic.

Well, surprise, surprise, but I'd actually read this fic before. Loved it then and thought I had alerted/favorited the author at that time. Apparently not.
I appreciated the story of Ruth particularly this time around. Especially as you had an interestingly Biblical typo a couple chapters before. It is the classic mistake (one that caused my daughter's Quick Recall team - think College Bowl if you are old enough) to lose in the final match. Calvary - a freaking nasty hill in Jerusalem. Cavalry - a big bunch of guys on horses with guns and swords that tend to show up in the nick of time. Precision in language is so important. Consider, would you rather be thought awful pretty or pretty awful? And the difference between awful and aweful is pretty fierce for just an e's worth of change.
I will favorite you again and see if it takes.
