This chapter jumps around way too much honestly just stick with a linear storyline! Like sure you doing it earlier worked out. You managed to make harry seem smart if not entirely too mature for his age. However in this chapter it seems to just abruptly switch to another point in time before the task without any real reason to.

So my issue is less him forgiving her instantly and more that at his age he wouldn’t have that emotional maturity. The guy is a teenager and is only 14 i know enough teens that age to know that they don’t have the maturity to do such.

So far i most have a problem with how harry instantly forgives hermione for the betrayal of his trust.

Oh fuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Damn it, Hermione, you been missing your best friend for a month now, he reaches out, confides in you and you go running to tattle?!
Oh sure, Hermione won't see it like that, but if she actually was listening to Harry she'd would know better. It's just another of her worst traits rearing up: thinking she knows better than others.
