Well, as difficult as it is to say (without looking like the devil myself) I can only congratulate Jasper about him finding ways to make each punishment worse than the previous one!

And even if it seems like Jake is doing well enough with his running off, I doubt he'll succeed from the warning Garrett gave him at breakfast. And if he was really smart, he would have waited a few more days to hear all their stories to really "know" where to go instead of running (okay horse riding) blindly in the sunset ;)

Well, Bella made a very good point about the second part of her punishment, and I'm very much (positively) surprised that Edward went along with it

After knowing what happened to Jake for his attempt to run, and the kick he got for kissing Bella im not sure, if it was a smart move to jump at this point...
Sure, having to listen to Jasper and Emmett isn't pleasant, but at least she would get some more information about the people she was about to meet not too long. And if death really was what she wanted to achieve, surely Bella would know to wait for more speed of the carriage at least :(

Hopefully Jasper will get a bit of his own medicine for damaging the new "goods"

Honestly, I'm no big fan of reading either Ewan or Bella with someone else, but like here, sometimes it's "necessary". And it was a damp hot lemon as well

I really like Carlisle, he does everything in his power to help these women, even if it's not much he can do...
Edward isn't that much of a difference, he's just not as resentful as him

I guess it's no surprise the Volturi like to set their "own rules" into the world of BDSM, but sadly enough those are there in RL as well:(

All in all, Edward is in quite a good position living and work wise with them, though. And having a good physician close by never is a bad thing;)
