Thank you for this, I've been waiting to see a story like this for a while now. I always thought that joining the military was something that Finn might do, following in his brave father's footsteps and all that, and it's quite contemporary with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in recent years. I like the idea that Finn's service will have a very deep impact on him. I hope we'll see more interaction between Finn and all the other main characters before he goes off to fight. I imagine his decision will have the biggest effect not just on Rachel and Carole, but on Burt, Kurt, Will, Puck and Quinn as well - Are Finn and Quinn and Puck reconciled in your story. Anyway, as you can tell I'm looking forward to more. Best,

Okay, so I'm gonna say up front that I hate and love stories like this. I hate that they'll be seperated and go through hell and everything, and I know I'll cry. But I also love it because I love how stories like this can show how love can stand the test of time and seperation and war. I'm excited for this, I imagine it will be one of the best and most impacting stories you've written yet. BUT DON'T LET FINN DIE. Or else the universe will end.

This just made me cry. *blush* can't think to how I'll react when the angst starts!

And I'm glad that Finn isn't going to die. I just couldn't cope with that.
