This was a compelling read. Spinelli is such a good guy, it's pretty hard to read a scenario where he's been through so much hell. I guess the point was to show that these two share real loyalty. You really brought that through.

Interesting...wasn't sure I was going to like it, but I did.

This story was so very, very poignant. It just dripped with melancholy. Poor Spinelli languishing in a Turkish hospital for the criminally insane and Jason oblivious to the fact that he hadn't left of his own free will. So, many gaps that fascinate me and caused my imagination to go into hyperdrive. How and why Turkey, how did Jason find him? Then there are the afteraffects. How will Spinelli cope, how damaged is he truly, what actually happened to him during all those months away? It's like this story is the saddest middle, I have ever read. Yet, the thing which makes it ultimately redeemable. even with all the frustrating missing pieces, is the unconditional love these two men share for one another. Excellent job!
