This story was...I can't explain it, but you should make a movie out of it.

I finished "Designated Things" and immediately read this story in one sitting. I was up to 3:30 am and was late to work. It was worth it. This was such a good story. I cried a lot.

10 years is a long time. She should have sorted out her priorities.
Don't misunderstand me, I pity all the characters but Hank the most.
I don't even blame Gambit for walking out on him. Him and his son will have to be a package deal and if they were to be able to move on, she will have to come to terms with forgiving him.
| xxxmutil-fandom-loverxxx chapter 14 . 7/27/2013
If she cannot truly love Hank yet but is determined enough to give him the chance HE DESERVES, she should never have cheated. At least break it off with him cleanly before she can hurt him with infidelity.
| xxxmutil-fandom-loverxxx chapter 11 . 7/27/2013
great now she just jumped herself into a relationship she could not fully invest herself in. Poor Hank.
| xxxmutil-fandom-loverxxx chapter 8 . 7/27/2013
'"…And I don't think I'd ever be able to accept your child." - HOW COULD SHE SAY SUCH A THING?
While if i was to be in her position the only people I would find fault with is Gambit and the mother of the child not the child himself. Surely she should could at least find the compassion within her to realise that his son is innocent of everything the adults did. Whilst Gambit may regret hurting her how could he possibly regret the outcome in regards to the birth of his son?
| Maxine chapter 27 . 1/4/2013
any progress on that wonderfully teasing plot bunny at the end?
| Story reader chapter 27 . 7/30/2012
This story was AMAZING AND SO DAMNED GOOD! I hadn't even seriously looked at a Remy/Ororo fic before but I am glad I read both of yours! Once again AMAZING! And I'm thrilled that the stories were completed!

It's after three in the morning, but I couldn't go to sleep without reading this story all the way through, lol...I absolutely loved it! You had a lot of angsty feelings wrapped up in there and I was kinda worried. Thank goodness for Etienne because it would've taken the adults forever to get their stuff together, lol :) I really enjoyed the first story and this sequel was a great finish! I'm definitely an OreO shipper now :)
| Tache Noir chapter 27 . 5/13/2012
I have no words to say how much I enjoyed...loved the original and the sequel! I bow to you! XD

Truly inspiring. Typos ignored, this work is a fine piece. Ignoring the prequel, it could also act as a stand alone.
The tale is heart wrenching and knows how to gut the reader's emotions. I really like the pairing. The support cast had been great as well.
Thank you for sharing and good luck on your next piece!
And yes, I'd say I'm an OreO believer now as well.
Keep it up!
