Oh my gosh! Seriously? Alice is mental. I would have still refused. Absolutely refused. You can’t bodily push around an adult, force them to do what they. Do. Not. Want. To. Do. Dress them up and whatever.. What a busybody manipulator. Seriously - do people find people like that endearing? Alice’s entire friendship with Bella seems to be “do what I want you to do, I don’t care what you want.”

Because if Edward wants her time, Edward needs to be making the gestures, period. Making Bella come to the man is just disrespecting Bella and her choice.

Alice sounds awful - like a person who can’t love and accept a friend for who they are - they must adjust to suit her wishes and her preferences. That wouldn’t fly with me, no matter how lovable the person could be! She’s so judgmental.

Thank goodness they are together, happy, and engaged. Loved this story!
