Well, this has certainly been an interesting story to read. I have just binged it for the last few days. So the plot did not go completely where I thought it might. It has definitely explored Ranma's gender and identity - something that seemed on the cards from the beginning and has done so in quite an interesting way. All the other stuff that has gone on throughout the have certainly been interesting - Nabiki becoming a witch, Kasumi's hidden powers, Akane having her spirit split, all three Tendo girls having dragon genealogy, Genma and Soun's dark past being explored, Ryoga becoming a familar. It's all quite a lot and possibly could have been better explored in mutiple fanfics than combined into this one. As other reviews have said, this story can also have quite a bit of whiplash. Akane forcing Ranma did feel like it came from left field but you have covered it better in the chapters afterwards. Overall you write very well and you have teased out a lot of interesting characterisation from the Ranma cannon. I look forward to more of this if you will return to it! All the best.

This chapter is weird so I'll just take this as the justification that Ranma only lost to Ryoga because she was a girl and move on. Also if you're placing your emotional baggage on a persona you should kill it off once it starts getting real; you'll feel emptier but it's necessary to maintain the status quo.

I honestly sympathize with cursed Akane, the world looks and feels better when you’re pure, but being perverted is something hard to get rid off, it feels like you’re no longer you, or like you’re losing something important but that can’t be right, you’re just getting better. Also rats are extremely perverted.

If you’re not taking any pleasure in being seen naked it isn’t really perverted, because you don’t see your body in a sexual light, it’s other people who are the deviants.

Ryoga is an idiot as is the norm, you don’t have to run away whenever so the situation turns dire you freaking dolt. Also everyone made their own choices and followed their own beliefs stop demeaning them by putting the sole blame on Ranma when it was Akane who detracted from the plan anyway. Seriously it’s like Ranma is the freaking devil to him it’s one my favorite dynamics honestly.

Having Akane tease Ranma is a real relief honestly. Also I’ve started to translate the dialogue to Japanese (the scarce amount I know) and it’s honestly pretty neat, I might read it enough times to translate the whole thing to Japanese.

I kinda understood Nabiki, I too hate having guests over, it messes with all my plans for the day and forces me to interact with people. If I think of Kasumi’s kitchen as my computer I’ve this person out before the day’s out.

Ryoga could choose to see her as Megumi or as Ranma but I guess his grudge somehow runs too deep. He really just twists all her actions to justify his hate no wonder he’s so miserable. I think he would’ve seen hell regardless of anyone and Ranma was just the easiest target, the guy just has issues. Actually how did he win? He’s strong but he hasn’t had the training Ranma has. Though I admit many of her wins just come about because of how far she’s willing to go to win and not necessarily because of superior skill or whatever.

No but reading this twice might be as fun as the first time, Kuno ended up being alright and then Akane…”Let’s do it with other people. I don’t want to lose you.” This is the line that gave me issues with future events.

Ranma explaining cooking to Akane is actually gold, like her rationalizations kinda make sense if you think of her like a caveman or something, reminds me of when I tried explaining math to my brother.

I wonder if my fist get strong to not break with a full force punch on marble would they bleed, and if they aren’t would the bleeding be internal?

What’s cool about the Nerima cast is that 90% of them are made with the key characteristics needed to create as much conflict as possible and seeing that be exploited by writers is really entertaining.

Akane is even more of a manipulative bitch on the second read, leaves a pleasant sour taste in the mind.

In later chapters Kuno actually stops fancying Akane as much once she started identifying as a male without being told, so I’m guessing that even from here Ranma was subconsciously identifying herself as a woman.

It’s actually kind of funny how Kuno is actually treated pretty well on this fic and TK while Akane is more or less bashed on both.

There were so many clues I dismissed from the start, but I was so caught up in the euphoria of occult man-turned-woman housewife guide I completely ignored the bunch of baloney and sussyness she was radiating. It's honestly hard to believe this was intended as a one-shot given all the set pieces for a larger narrative, really glad I live in the universe wherein it's actually expanded upon.

I wanted to know if after already knowing what's gonna happen would make this story more boring but it seems I was wrong about that assumption. My main intention for reading this is actually to live vivaciously through Ranma and absorb and incorporate his personality into my own. I have issues, it's like being insane but being acutely aware of your insanity but not being able to do anything about it. So this story is actually like food to me, which I say with positive connotations.

Tbh I felt the conversation between Ranma and Ryoga a bit weird but I rationalized it as Ryoga being his usual insane self and Ranma just accepting his reality due to the dire situation.

The rape thing was actually a good addition, now that I think about. Like seeing how Ranma reacts to the trauma is interesting.

Kinda unrelated but I think it gave more gravity to rape in my mind. Like last night I had trouble sleeping seeing things from Ranma s pov; so while I think it's good I still think it was ooc even within the personalization within here. Maybe I can just think of it as obviously losing a part of your soul would make you less human and the severity of it hadn’t been clear until then.

Akane getting beat up was honestly extremely vindicated, I didn't realize how much she bothered me until now, I just thought her a tad annoying. The amount of plot lines you've been keeping up honestly feel like they deserve a completely different fic to develop but I'm happy to see how they all take place here.
