|Reviews for The Betty Chronicles|
| Aggie94 chapter 1 . 2/2
I hate that people suck. I'd love to know the name of the published book. I'll add it to my Kendall. Thank you for sharing your words. Meg.

I just came across this today and although I don't believe I have ever read your previous work, I want you to know that the fact that you received such horrendous negativity from readers makes my heart hurt. I sincerely wish you the best in your writing career whether it is for fanfiction, for readers or for only yourself. Best of luck.

I wish i had got a chance to read it.
| My Nocturnal Admissions chapter 1 . 10/7/2015
I didn't even get the chance to read this story before it was pulled. When I saw your author's note on chapter one, I decided to look at the reviews to see what people were saying that offended you so much. I am incredibly sorry for the way people are treating you. Your story must have been good to have that many favorites and follows. I wish I had gotten the chance to read it. All I can say is that those who are viciously criticizing you are irrelevant and if they were to try, the wouldn't be able to write a story half as good as yours.

First of all, to read this description... and find out it's an advertisement for a book is not only against the rules, but also very misleading! Secondly, shame on you for publishing a fanfiction! You are STEALING from Stephanie Myers! She explicitly says that she doesn't agree with this sort of fanfiction because she is mormon! It's totally disrespectful to her religious views and you literally stole her characters to form "your" own characters. I hope she makes you pay money for using her characters. I would be saying the exact same thing about 50 shades of grey, so it's not just you. It's one thing to write your own story, but it's something totally different to steal another author's storyline and use it to write your own. Spend some time traveling and come up with your own story? I bet you will be inspired by getting out into the world. Have fun, I've reported this "story" as abuse under the idea that it's spam... because it is. You are spamming your readers. Start a website and email list if you want something for original readers. This is not the purpose of this page. Please invest your time writing your published works, but make them original. I'm sure you are an awesome writer... but don't plagiarize. If you don't want bad reviews, then don't put advertisements as a fanfiction. Don't attempted to publish a fanfiction... Best of luck in your future career, but for your sake, you probably need to go take a writing ethics and law course to make sure you aren't breaking any laws.

Can you let me know where I can read your original. I never got to finish it and would like to see how it ended.
| Queen'sGal chapter 1 . 5/29/2014
So. I had not read this before the big controversy. But then I found a pdf online and read it. Seriously- a publisher actually bought this to publish!? The writing is terrible. Full of errors, and just bad. And that's just the grammar. The content is misogynistic crap. I couldn't even finish it, and it was free.
You completely robbed the people who WERE following this story. And now you cry because they're upset? You must literally have your head up your bum. It's unethical to behave the the way you have. . It's so obvious to everyone that you've only ever been in this to make a quick buck. You have no loyalty. Yet expect the people you cheated to remain loyal? You're daft.

Congratulations on being strong enough to ignore all the haters and get your work published. I look forward to getting the book and picking up where I left off. Good luck xxxx
| Frances357 chapter 2 . 5/17/2014
I am just so sorry you received anything close to the hate and vitriol you described here. That is so unacceptable and cowardly of those people. Thank you for sharing your writing and best wishes with your publishing.
| tash chapter 2 . 5/8/2014
Loved this story, wish you all the best publishing this. Just ignore those spiteful readers who can't appreciate the effort it take to write and publish a story.
| SanguineTaurean chapter 1 . 5/3/2014
I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to write and share with us. I am so sorry you have endured the nastiness, which seems to be getting worse on this site. I just don't understand why some people think it's okay to be so tacky, selfish and gutless, hiding behind their monikers and giving authors a hard time. I am grateful and if you decide to do whatever then it is your story and your choice. Period. Respect is sorely lacking nowadays and that shows how this country, and society, is ethically failing. So sad.
| SanguineTaurean chapter 2 . 5/3/2014
The last chapter I read was #31 and just came back to read from that point on but I didn't know it had been pulled. Now I wonder how many chappies I missed.
Goodness gracious! I am so disheartened to read your a/n about what you have endured for your choice as an author. You gave up your personal time to appease us of our infatuation of these characters, to share your imagination, to write the story as you see fit, for free and then people hiding behind the internet façade give you a nasty time. That is so tacky, childish and utterly disgusting. I am sick and tired of people mistreating these wonderful authors. It's no wonder so many writers give up and leave which ruins it for the rest of us who respect the authors and their stories.
