I'm very impressed with this story - especially the last chapter. Sacrifice is a part of the epic story that many fanfic writers like to ignore or minimize - and the stories lose something because of it.

I saw your bio. I see what you mean about writing a third part in this story. I would not want you to write a story when you had nothing to say.
However, if you ever do get an idea for another H/G fic, separate from this one, you know I'll be the first to read it!

I kept seeing this story from time to time, but decided to ignore it since I knew it was most likely out of line with canon. I decided to give a go yesterday and I'm so glad I did. There are so many wonderful things to say about it (and I'm sure you've heard almost all of them), but I loved the originality (especially how you didn't draw out Harry and Ginny actually getting together, but rather explored their relationship throughout the year) and how you didn't end on an incredibly happy note. Thank you so much for giving a gutsy, brilliant Ginny when at that point you'd only read the Goblet of Fire where she was still a bit mousy and scared of approaching Harry. Her character here lined up so much more with the OOTP character of Ginny.
All in all, this was a brilliant story and I wanted to give you the proper praise when it comes to it. I'm off to read the next portion.

Awesome story. Flitwick was Dr. Zog? Hilarious! But now Harry’s done and lost his magic? Poor guy. But, that is a sacrifice worth making to stop something as evil as Voldemort. At least Harry does have a girlfriend.

I realized my short, nothing reviews did not give this terrific story justice.
First off, I could never have imagined a better story to fit Harry and Ginny except this one. Till I read the Long Road Home, of course:)
Firstly, I like how you have give Ginny a gift. She is truly a special person and the fact that she made a jewel for Harry when it caused her pain shows how much she cares-no, loves Harry. She always gives him all she has and he in turn did the same for her.
I loved the 'little' moments in the story. When Harry and Ginny fought, I was on both of their sides. When they were apart, your writing made me feel their angst. I was waiting breathlessly for them to find one another again. Ron and Hermione are smart kids, their plan to get Harry and Ginny back together was ingenious.
I also like how Harry was able to wait for Ginny, no matter how he was feeling. It was torture for him, but he loved her so much that it didn't matter. And when he turned her down on her birthday, I felt her disappointment.
Charlie's death was very sad, but it paved the way for new storylines. Death can tear people apart, but thankfully Harry and Ginny only got closer.
Thank you for this wonderful story and the even more wonderful sequel. You truly have talent.

This was *amazing*! Just...amazing. Not only was the story fabulous, but it evoked every emotion...I laughed, cried, raged, rejoiced...This was amazing. I just...can't think of another word for it. Great job! :)

I was absolutely stunned by this fic. It is truely a testament to what orignal and creative people authors of fanfiction can be. I wasn't sure quite where it was going in the beginning, but it just kept getting better and better as the chapters flew by. I must say though, I'm very realieved there's a sequal, I'm not sure I'd be as happy with you if you had ended it completely right there ;-) Thanks so much for such an incredible read!

I COULDNT FINISH THE CHAPTER YET! W/o saying, DUMBLEDORE, YOU SELFISH BASTARD! How dare he ask harry to take it off. Its giving Harry reliefe and he wants him to take it off to see where flipping Voldimort is but who gives a fuck! Harry already as a messed up life, now flipping dumbledore is beigna selfish dork asking Harry to check on soemthign like that! ITS NOT FAIR! Oh, great story dear! I really love it. Sorry for the ranting, your story just brings out the best in me ;) LOVE IT, really.
