Love your work, so authentic. I can tell you really love the characters. You are a wonderful and talented writer. Thanks for sharing.

Aww, I love those guys! Very sweet piece here.
| Just4Me chapter 5 . 1/10/2011
What a lovely moment between the four men. I think Nessie's presence would be the primary factor in finally convincing Edward that they are not monsters, and maybe even have souls worth saving.
| mousy38 chapter 2 . 11/28/2010
these are very CUTE stories - Thank you for writing them.
| Just4Me chapter 4 . 11/19/2010
Fascinating quote. I think it truly portrays what Carlisle feels about power, and how to wield it. His strength is only magnified by his non-violent approach to life (at least to human life, let's forget about the poor animals!)

Your awesom self needs to start a new fic, or update more often :-)
| AccioBourbon chapter 4 . 11/17/2010
"Edward wonders, in the crowded images and borrowed memories of his mind, how he will choose to demonstrate the power he has as vampire."
I know the quote centers around the notion of power, but what really resonated here, for me, was how very typically adolescent Edward is: the worry over how others will perceive you, the comparisons to others, the doubt that you will ever measure up.
I love this- it's so obvious that you gave this one a lot of thought, lady.
And I couldn't help but want to reassure Edward, somehow, maybe by telling him that in about 85 years, he will demonstrate some serious power, in the form of restraint. ;)

These are lovely! But then, I don't expect anything less from you.
I always write Carlisle as moving as a human as his default mode. I think he spends so much time pretending to be one that he would simply unconsciously habituate to being "slow."
More human than human, indeed.
(I love this project, too. What an interesting prompt idea.)

Aw, Edward! Come hide out in my house for a few days. I'm sure you will feel better then. Much, much better.
| Just4Me chapter 3 . 9/8/2010
I imagine Edward struggled greatly after Rosalie was first turned. And that just added to Carlisle's guilt.
| Capricorn75 chapter 2 . 8/26/2010
Good to see you writing again, stranger!
| Just4Me chapter 2 . 8/26/2010
Another great quote from a great movie. You have to wonder if Carlisle EVER acts like a vampire.
| Just4Me chapter 1 . 8/26/2010
Love the movie quote prompt idea. This one fits Twilight to a T. Nice job.
| Capricorn75 chapter 1 . 6/3/2010
What a cool prompt idea! I should get in on that...
I love Carlisle/Edward interaction of any kind. This fit perfectly with canon.
