![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, I would love to see what Clark gets up to in the 2400s. |
![]() ![]() Great story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I still remember watching the movie and I had a suspicion this crossover was in that one. Good job! I can still remember the scene where baby Superman is ejected out into space while his home planet is destroyed. Good work! |
![]() ![]() Excellent! I would love to see more of this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome story! Creative |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is fantastic. You have a great grasp on both Q's character and on Elliot S! Maggin's style, and your own writing style is superb as well. I would love to continue reading your stories about Q and whoever else you choose to have Q interact with. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great story! |
![]() ![]() Hello Alara! I really enjoyed your story with Q and Superman's father. You combined my favorite part of the first Superman movie and the most interesting and amusing part of Q's personality. Thanks very much and Live long and prosper! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Love this! |
![]() ![]() Great Story. To be honest, tho' I can't see 'Q' being altruistic(except after occassional exposures to humanity over time...). I had a Superman/Star Trek x-over in mind that was able to fit both 'universes' neatly together, but as time passed and TNG, DS9, et-al filled in more Trek history of the future, it wouldn't work any more. Only Kirk would take a swing at a caped man that had just nearly destroyed his ship with a glance. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I mostly just loved this for the schtick about Vulcans naming their planet 'Hot Sand'. LOL! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Can't believe there's only two reviews so far? Anyway, a very nice story... short and to the point. It's rather Star TRek-centric, and thus the characterization of Q shines through most of all. Doubt there's a need for a sequel, but the possibilities of stories hinting of Earth-DC overlapping with ST's universe makes for some good short story ideas... |
![]() ![]() Very nice. Its so strange that I discovered this site and read your work the day after you published it. When I saw there was a crossover story of two of my favorite "fictions", I had to read it. I'm also a product of the Superman of the 70's & 80's. Over the years I've done some crossovers with Superman in my mind; maybe I'll put them down in black & white as well. I love the Q characterization; I think you got it right on, with him mentally chiding the Kryptonians for their lack of color & style...lol. |
![]() ![]() ![]() LOVE IT! I just hope that this isn't the last of the Q and superman crossovers. |
