![]() ![]() ![]() I know I'm repeating everyone else, but this is fantastic. Your style, plot, and characters are all lovely. The only suggestion I have is to update because this story deserves to be finished. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It has been so long since I've tuned into this story (or any other fanfic for that matter), but I'm glad I did. I was quite upset that Baird died (even more so when I realised the cream and herbs she found in his bag could have helped save him)but it is refreshing to read stories where the good guys don't always make it. Hope to see more of this soon :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, just wow. This is truly a magnificent story, probably the best LotR fanfic I've ever read. I'm amazed at how realistic everything seems, and how much work you seem to have put into this. Admittedly, I was at first somewhat anxious about when Maddie is going to meet the fellowship, but now I just enjoy the flow of the story. You just keep getting better and better, so I hope you'll keep writing this! Looking forward to the next chapter :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I really enjoyed reading this; it was wonderful! I hope you continue it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love this story! You're such an amazing writer...please update soon! X |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lovely story, really. Please continue(: |
![]() ![]() ![]() Bravo, Mushi! Wonderful, you have captured the essence of a "realistic" insert story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow. Awesome story! It's so believable, so realistic. I love how you throw in all of these uncomfortable and down-right deadly situations, and can't wait to see what you do when she actually does meet the fellowship. I sincerely hope you continue! |
![]() ![]() This is just about ther best fanfic I think I've ever read!I really love it cant wait for an update! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ooh, wow, I haven't read many of these types of fics (mainly because I don't feel like wasting my time and I know the majority of the OC LotR fics are just that: a waste of time), I've only read one really good one, but this one seems really good so far! I was confused at first by her not knowing anything about LotR, but then I thought, maybe she's suffering from selective amnesia? Idk, but I kinda hope so, that would be interesting. I'm also hoping for some romance down along the line, that moment with a (potentially) blushing Eromir was cute. Anyway, back to the point, I'm really enjoying this and I'll be looking forward to updates! :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() Definitely enjoyed this take on a person from our world dropped into a fantasy world that isn't all thrilling action and magical wonder. I... don't really want to be there when Maddie first encounters orcs. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, this chapter was intense. From coca cola to having to assimilate into a from-your-perspective immensely impoverished culture. I was scared for her in a few places, and laughed at the coke/starbucks/mcdonald's/america attempt. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, I liked this. I was skeptical that the "just put her somewhere far from help" formula would actually work, but all doubt flew from my mind once I started reading-she has to grow strong and establish a place for herself. I thought the various details (relieving herself, food, the anxiety) *were* realistic. I particularly liked the moment where she double-checked to see there were no fences around. We don't have wilderness like that in the world today, do we? I wonder what that means sometimes. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's rather inspirational knowing that someone can do what had previously seemed quiet impossible. ;) Keep up the amazing work, I throughly enjoyed reading it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is the best Lord of the Rings fanfiction I've seen. I love that you always have the few lines in the beginning making note of how to make these sorts of fictions seem more realistic, and it really does work. Actually... as much as I like Lord of the Rings, I usually hate the stories people write for it. :/ This is the only one that has caught my attention, so far! But your OC is realistic, and I grow more fond of her as the chapters continue! She's a good one. |
