Well, I'm only 9 years late, but that was fucking incredible. I have a list (it's very short) of stories that I will show my children if they ever wonder why in the world Ron and Hermione ended up together when Harry and Hermione are clearly meant for each other. This has been added.

These stories (the ones on my list) always help with my closure from a series that occupied such a large part of my life and then ended without catharsis, as I felt that both Harry and Hermione deserved to be perfectly happy, and their book partners would never be able to give that to them. No offense to the Weasley's, of course.

Excellent story. Fantastic writing. Caused numerous visceral reactions. Loved the hints of a powerful harry while not being overbearing. This is officially the epilogue. Great story. Glas to see I'm not the only one who cried. 8 years later, what a great style of writing. Only in on or two places did I have a heard time keeping the flow between who was talking to whom.

The best part about this story is that the angst is handled so well. The doubts the two couple have make complete sense when you look at their situation from their own point of view. Usually, angsty fanfics make me roll my eyes, but the way this is written makes you feel for the characters.

I loved this story! It’s absolutely brilliant! I can’t believe it doesn’t have more favourites.

I have one question, though, but it’s more of a nitpick than anything:
How did Hermione know about that “last moment” if it didn’t happen on her own timeline?

Regardless, it’s definitely one of the most beautifully written story out there. Fanfic or not (ignoring the few typos here and there). You’ve got a talent in writing. I hope you continue to bless the world with more amazing stories.

This is incredibly beautiful and I’m so happy I found your story. Thank you for sharing this journey with us, I’ve cried and felt so incredibly happy and simply moved throughout the whole thing. It was very near to canon but also gave them the happy ending they deserved.

10/10 ***** Amazing. One of the best H/HR fanfics I've ever read. You didn't go over the top with any duels or steamy scenes. All the characters were believable. The only plot point that baffled me, at first, was the fact that Hermione and Ginny would both agree to go back and basically erase their own children just to fix Harry. However, once you painted the portrait of the love between them, the agony they had to endure, I get it. What a brilliant ending. I wrote a fanfic years ago with Hermione using a memory charm to erase a love bloom between them during Ron's departure in Deathly Hallows, but your use of changing the past and the consequences buts me to shame as a writer, and excited me at the same time. I will now stalk your profile for more stories. Thank you!

I like what youre doing so far, but there is a bit too much of reciting the original story. Your original work is best and refreshing. I hope moving forward i feel less like im rereading deathly hallows and reading time is the fore instead.
