Reviews for Time is the Fire |

![]() ![]() Dumbledore. Why does it always have to be Dumbledore? |
![]() ![]() It's a little challenging when everyone in the flashbacks are referred to as "the boy" or "the girl" but I think I've got the hang of it. |
![]() ![]() I am immensely enjoying the story so far. Can't wait to see what the artifact is, and to see more Harry/Hermione moments. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Man, fuck the canon Epilogue. As far as I'm concerned this is how it all went down. You weren't kidding about them earning their happy ending, but they got there in the end! I'm also stating for the record that Peter's redemption is the best piece of fanfiction I've ever read, and brought me closer to tears than anything from the actual books. AND THAT WASN'T EVEN THE FOCUS OF THE STORY. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Its going nice. Just stopped to review. Its brilliant. I always imagined things to hard for them to love each other. Even better than Jo, sorry Jo, but I love shipping Harmony way more than anyother characters. Thanks for story |
![]() ![]() ![]() Umm..wth? I think I've been hit with a bludger, but in a holy-shit-this-fic-was-amazing way! :-D It took me a quite some time to read this fic, and I enjoyed every minute of it! Seriously! While in the beginning, I cringed at the HG and RHr moments, you've more than made up for it with your meticulous and superb writing! My God! The ideas, the details, the mere thoughts that went into this story was astounding! Somehow, you've written HHr in a very unique way even though time-traveling fics with this pair have been done too many times! In addition, your Harry and Hermione moments were so tender yet raw, but no less powerful than an explosion, in my opinion. I'm in love with your story-telling talent, my friend! This story was nothing short of amazing...truly! :-) I hope one day, you decide to write more wonderful HHr stories for us. Thanks for sharing this gem! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth. Arthur Conan Doyle Hermione is trying to stop Harry from placing the memory charm on his younger self. D. Page Robin |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm backtracking. I still think the Mirror told Harry his love for Hermione, but it is Ron Hermione it hunting. The current Ron goes back and Obliviates Harry to keep him from acting on his love. I know that violates premises that Ron is a mensch, so I thinks it might be Draco actually. D. Page Robin |
![]() ![]() ![]() OK, I've only read the first two chapters, but I think I've got a handle on it. The object Harry moved to the Ministry is the Mirror of Erised. In it he sees the family he should have had with Hermione. It is then he realizes he has been in love with her. In the next chapter(s), he will go back in time to ensure that his past self will confess his love for her. And have the destiny he should have had. I am not yet sure about Hermione's motivations though. From this chapter, she loves Harry, but is she trying to stop Hume or help him. I guess "time will tell", but I am enjoying this story greatly. D. Page Robin |
![]() ![]() ![]() To quote Hermione from Goblet of Fire, "You two are so stupid!". And they are, I.M.O. Moving on to Ch. 12... |
![]() ![]() ![]() I just found this story on someone's favs list. What a find! It's not often that I come across a unique fanfiction, but I can honestly say I have never read a story like this. I loved it, I am a fan of the Harry\Hermione pairing but I have never seen it done this way without the Weasley bashing. Usually in H/H stories, Ginny and/or Ron are portrayed horribly, thus the reason for Harry and Hermione to be together. I'm impressed that you take the high road here, in that the Weasley's are themselves, just not meant to be with Harry and Hermione. I love that this could be canon. If JKR had gone another way.. this could have been the outcome. I also love that this story was obviously plotted from the fist chapter to the last. Often with fanfic.. its a write as you go genre which is fine however I find some authors can lose sight of the plot. In your case, you kept me wondering throughout and wrapped it up at the end. Wonderful story! Thanks for writing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() :D One deeply, weirdly 'circular' tale if ever there was one. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Brilliant! On the other thing you do know that epigraph is from Bible? and actually it described in overall the pessimism that the writer / Philosopher/ King Solomon had over life? But anyway MORE PLEASE. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Fantastic! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Excellent story! I really enjoyed all the twists and turns, and look forward to reading more of your work. |
