|Reviews for Scarlet Jelly Beans|
| sirensbane chapter 1 . 7/28/2014
I started laughing hysterically and scared my roommate. I never would have believed before that a story with this premise could be in-character! This was wonderfully well-written on so many levels. Percy can be such a jerk when he wants to be to poor Chauvelin… I loved this immensely.

This was possitively BRILLIANT!
Well done Sir Percy!
HaHA Chauvelin got stuck with a box full of scarlet jelly beans!

I really enjoyed this and I'm looking forward for more humorous things from you since you do it very well.
You doesn't love an inane Percy toying with Mon-sewer Chambertain all the time!
Thanks for the goo read

Well, I now have a strong craving for Jelly Beans.
I would've liked to see Marguerite's reaction to the Jelly Beans.
That poem: hilarious. Honestly, it was very clever.
I look forward to seeing more Pimpernel-based one-shots and stories soon. Keep writing!

Highly entertaining! I confess I was a bit wary at the title, but your writing is great and you pulled this off for a perfect bit of comedy. :-)

My review, scanned to Theodor Suess Geisel's immortal "Green Eggs and Ham," (which is what I brought to mind as I read this):
"I do not want a jelly bean,
Sir Percy you are very mean,
..I will not eat them on the road,
...I will not eat them if you goad,
I do not wish to, no, no, no...
Despite the fact they're Trader Joe..."

This is the funniest thing I've read for quite a while, and I must admit that I *DO* blame you entirely for my new-found love of TJ's Jelly Beans. . .
You really must consider a poor beta's feelings when you send her something as funny as this. . .
. . ."Well, you shall be disappointed, I fear me; there isn't a "Pungent Pepper" one. . .which no doubt, you would prefer.". . .
And this. . .
"No! SIR PERCY BLAKENLEIGH, I would not!"
"You May Share Them With Lord Tony, Or Sir Andrew, Or Lady Marguerite, Or His Highness, Or Anyone Else You Wish, Except For ME!"
"Err, well then. . . If you feel that way about it. . ."
*SNERK* I love it!
And the revised ending zipped it all up perfectly.
I'm still giggling. . . . . .
