The way you managed to sum up so much in the first portion of the chapter...showing us some of the unlucky whose names are carved on the stone...the way the battles left Kakashi so deeply changed-while still maintaining some of his original foibles...and although it was sad to learn of Naruto and Iruka's passing, it was equally wonderful to know Sakura, Genma and Shikamaru survived.

Of course, none of that may come to pass now that Kakashi has found himself back at a point where he might be able to change things.

The way you had him react to learning when in time he was...'Too late to save Obito, he thought, with a flash of honest regret. Or Minato-sensei.

But that still left a large space of time, and he could be anywhere in it. He joined ANBU in the weeks following the Kyubi attack, and still took special missions on the side for years after he'd officially retired. No one ever left ANBU completely.

So when was he? Was he too late after all?'...shows his mind, at least, is still in place after the jump...

I look forward to seeing just how he will manage molding the kids this time around...and if it really will make a difference.

Time traveling fics are also so interesting, but the idea of even plotting one myself makes my head spin in a not-so-fun way O.O

It's usually almost always 'super-Naruto' that goes back. I've only seen a few others besides him. This is the first Kakashi one I've seen. This looks very promising. Hope Kakashi breaks Sakura's fangirlism fast. I pray this does not fizzle out at the chunin exams like all the rest. Looking forward to more.
