Two points I'm disappointed on, no Gabriel, and you didn't really address the issue of the younger Cas. Other than that, it was great.

i just consumed this entire verse in one sitting, & i wish i had more words to give you in review because this was a fantastic journey that i didn't expect at all from the start. when i read your caveat that this was 'a jimmy story' i wavered about continuing (what? i know my interests!) but jeez. am i ever glad i did because - much like your protagonists - i've gone on this journey and come out better on the other side. just really, really fantastic storytelling. thanks for sharing this.

I really like this. You nail Cas and Jimmy in a way I haven't seen before. Their relationship is sweet and bitter, but still loving. The plot is well put together and still has the tone of Supernatural grim, but still funny at times. Love it.

Jimmy Novak is my second favourite supernatural character (after Castiel) and i've watched The Rapture more than any other episode. Finding a well-written and emotional piece about him means a lot on its own, but intertwined with such incredibly thematic and personal and touching relationship development with Cas - it's more than I could ever wish for. Your worldbuilding - true forms and all your experimentation with vessels - was beyond amazing and was such an utter joy to read. Fics like this do /not/ come along every day.
The dean/cas and sam/jimmy relationships were so /sweet/, too. And your portrayal of John Winchester was fantastic! Everything. everything. there were no dealbreakers. everything just kept getting better and better and better.

This is beautiful. Such a wonderful end to this incredible series. You have such a way with words and have handled all of the characters so perfectly as you put them in the past and rework their story into something so different and yet, so believable and fitting for their characters and this new life of theirs that you have set up. OMG, this was AWESOME! I read it like three times before I finally remembered that I hadn't reviewed this final chapter yet! I just wanted you to know that I loved it, it really worked on so many levels. I love how everything had happened for a reason and the total togetherness and trust and growth that Jimmy and Cas had! It's really a wonderful alternate timeline for the show! I so enjoyed seeing the journey of Jimmy and Cas!
