| MissiYoung chapter 14 . 6/17/2015
Because of the paranoia and hallucinations many of us also suffer from moderate to severe headaches and migraines just trying to deal with the extra stimulation. As some points in treatment (often) we withhold that information from the treatment team because it's ammunition against us; this is massively counterproductive and seems silly and I am currently decently maintained so I'm aware of that right now. As me again in six months and I won't remember having ever read this and will assume that you're part of a plot against me. Hell, ask me in six HOURS and it may have changed; all it takes is one tiny thing (the proverbial butterfly wings) to change my entire medication needs. The fear of the medication was spot on, always trying to control/kill us or, my personal fallback, use it to change our personality and turn us into Stepford persons locked inside our own minds with no control over our bodies. This fic is really well done, and I agree about not bringing pairings into it because fifteen years post diagnosis I STILL HATE BEING TOUCHED unless I initiate it. I'm having a hard time putting my review into words, so you got a dossier on headaches and conspiracy instead. I had a compulsion to review, though. Sorry about this, except all the ways I'm not.

| Guest chapter 6 . 5/31/2012
I just wanted to say bravo on your an for this chapter. I've lurked all over this site and there are so many stories that submit to the whole 'love conquers everything' idea and which have completely messy, tragic, horrible plot lines be solved by simplistic romantic twists and i am so glad you said no. Because it's like junkfood for the soul, and what you are doing is so much better.

I know it's been a while since you've updated, but I really hope you'll revive this story. It's absolutely wonderful; I'd hate for it to go unfinished.
| TiannaMVA chapter 14 . 4/6/2012
This is a better schizophrenic character story I've ever read, and several of those were professionally published. (though one was close to this in the sense of a paranoid schizophrenic who heard voices that said things similar to, "He'd look good in red.")

| HappyDaysAreHereAgain chapter 6 . 9/18/2011
well he seems to be doing better :) I'm glad he's able to focus and speak coherently now, I think that's a nice big step...
| WeAreTomorrow chapter 6 . 9/1/2011
You are completely in the right.
It's not that I don't like romance. Hell, most of what I write is romance.
But in a story like this it has no place.
The characters and the hell their going through comes first. Especially something this real that affects so many people.
Well done and wisely said. The quote was perfect.

I was excited to see what issue you chose for him. God, I just realized how that sounds.
But anyway, I think this fits him.
He's always so tough and to have that mask crack and fall away...
Anyway, I look forward to more.

I'm so glad there was an update! It's amazing, as usual. I really hope you can delve into schizophrenia more and how it works; because I liked the little snippet into Puck's journal-type notebook where there was a glimpse into the chaos the disease causes mentally. Update again soon if you can, please! :P
