Hi! I have a different account than I did back then, but I just want you to know that I remembered your fanfic from when I was reading it a decade ago. I can't remember why I stopped, somehow my anxiety crept in and prevented me (of all things from reading a story I was otherwise addicted to), so I think this will be my first time actually finishing it, though I've still got a ways to go until then. But I want you to know that I'm rereading it, as I've reread some other fics, and this one's still held up as a fic that I love in my adulthood. Actually, I feel like I can better appreciate the work you've put in now that I've got another decade of life under my belt, and have taken to writing and exploring human behavior as well. I also had no idea what a brilliant play on Cupid and Psyche you had committed- and if that wasn't your intention then know that this dream device is just brilliant in general.

I hope you've continued writing, and would love to read more of your work, whether it's fanfiction or original fiction. Thanks for your work. Thanks for being patient with the process, I really appreciate the character development that you've invested in in these earlier chapters. I'm excited to continue reading!

Oh where to begin! This was such a joy to read, truly. I absolutely devoured each and every bit. How you were able to take moments from the canon and expound upon them, (often times improve them!) while seamlessly fitting them into your own narrative was incredible. Your characterization is what really shines here to me; especially that of Spike’s. Being able to see inside his mind during Part II was my favorite part. You wrote everyone so beautifully and they truly felt real and not “fanfictiony” versions of themselves. I could go on all day about how much I enjoyed the experience of reading this! Thank you for so much all hard work and dedication you put into this; it really shows.

I’ve spent the better part of a week absolutely falling in love with this story. I never wanted it to end but I’m so grateful for the journey. Exactly what I needed after binge watching the series and couldn’t stand what they did to Spuffy. Perfection! Bravo! Loved it!
