This was amazing. This should be canon. Why is this not how the show played out?!

Firstly, Bravo! You have written an absolutely amazing story. It was perfect. Everyone was so in character, and everything felt so believable. The pace was perfect. The feelings and the thoughtsit was all just so good. TOO good.

Secondly, you are so talented and I hope that you are still writing. Seriously.

This was my first Spuffy fic(have no idea why I never checked out Spuffy fanfics before this) and I am so glad I found yours first. Although, I’m afraid I won’t find anything else I like half as much hahha I’m actually sad that this is over.

I’m headed to go check and see what other Spuffy you have. And if you’re still writing it, you’ve definitely got a fan here!

I really loved all of this story. It’s one of my favourite.
I love Spuffy even more than before now, I already thought that they were beautiful together, but now, because of you (and your talent), I’m convinced that they were made for each other. I love how you described the evolution of Spike (especially why he is different from Angel, why he is capable of loving her without a soul when Angelus could’nt), Buffy and their relationship.
This story is pure gold

And why is it now over and I feel empty without it?

You write so well and your descriptions, character developments, story plot are all amazingly plausible and so incredibly better than how the show actually ended! Thank you for writing this. Spike deserved better than what he was given and you captured what that would have looked like so very well.

Okay, so I’ve just read those two chapters about Joyce’s and I needed to leave a review now. Before this, I’ll tell you that I really love this story and I like that you take your time building the relationship between Spike and Buffy (And Mr. Gordo, I thought it was Spike but I’m like that’s too easy, right ?!).
So now with those two chapters, on the show Joycés death really broke my heart, and those scenes with Buffy (when she found the body), Dawn (when Buffy tells her) and Anya (when she says she doesn’t understand and doesn’t know how to handle it) etc. were so heartbreaking...
How you wrote these scenes, It made my heart break even harder ! I didn’t think it could be possible. You really have something, you have a gift for writing. You made me laugh, made me feel angry, sad... That’s what I love with art (booke, tv show, movies etc), how it can affect you.
So here I am, it’s 6AM in France and bow I know that I can’t sleep anymore because the emotion you gave me was really strong.

Hope you’re okay and that you didn’t stop writing.

Seriously the best buffy x spike fic here. I absolutely love how you wrote Spike's character. Absolutely amazing writing-the plot, the complicated emotions, the individual characters. Wish you could write more about this pairing although a longshot. We need more of this!

Finally finished - a very interesting merger of East of the Sun and West of the Moon with Buffy. Loved the way you adapted (improved!) Buffy canon - Spike went through so much in order to become the perfect knight for her. Thank you for sharing.

By Willow's comments alone you can tell this is a '90s show before the LGBT awareness came to light. In my opinion Willow is bisexual.
