| Almost an Actress chapter 1 . 7/3/2013
Oh, the ending was heartbreaking. She really thought that he would never leave her, and like everyone else, he did. A shame that the same man she loved from afar all those years was her killer. And everyone who left her...it's just sad.
| Lepidissima chapter 1 . 5/1/2013
The clincher at the end...now I'm all emotional
| hervissa chapter 1 . 1/1/2013
Amazing view into Nellie's thoughts... I just love it when she thinks about Sweeney - I can almost see him as she does ;)
Tall, dark and handsome - just the type of fictional (*sob* why just fictional...) character I love ;)
| Aleize Claire chapter 1 . 10/12/2010
very good! but did Sweeny kill toby?
| Shikabane-Mai chapter 1 . 8/22/2010
Oh my god, this was so sad. I love how you described the different people that left her and how everyone, ending with Sweeney, was leading up to the (tragic) climax. It's horrible how in that moment, dancing with him, (by the way, I loved that you also mentioned the three bodies on the bakehouse floor) she thinks Sweeney will finally be the one who won't leave her, when he's really just about to throw her into the oven and kill her.
| Inkfire chapter 1 . 7/20/2010
I loved this! Poor Mrs Lovett... The ending was really striking
| rainbowfish22 chapter 1 . 6/27/2010
I Lovett. The past you made up for Mrs. Lovett was great, and it helps to show how much Sweeney means to her. This is great. :D
| Charmingly-Evil chapter 1 . 6/21/2010
awww how sad. this was very well written. great job!
| Haley chapter 1 . 6/20/2010
| Anne Tempest chapter 1 . 6/19/2010
I love an idea. And the first sentence is so true... I'll cry ;[ (now my school friends have to leave me).
| JamesLuver chapter 1 . 6/19/2010
Yay! Another great piece! I love how melancholy the tone of the story is all way through, with Nellie reflecting on the people who have left her. In particular, the paragraph about her losing her mother and her relationship with was saddening, as it is something I can relate to (it hasn't happened to me, thank goodness, but it's something we all fear nevertheless).
The part about Nellie believing that Sweeney could turn to her because she knew what loss was too was also upsetting because of the fact that Nellie had learned how to cope with loss in a way that Sweeney never could, which would always prevent them from being together.
And, of course, the hope at the end was even more devastating because we know what's coming next. :(
(I've got a week before my last exam now, so I'm going to get through your updates and finish the PM now. ;))
| linalove chapter 1 . 6/18/2010

A nice reflective piece.

Oh Mrs. Lovett, you stupid creature, never dance with a man holding a razor blade!
First review! Again! I feel like such a stalker, but that was wonderful :) I lovett :))
