This read like an episode of the show, characters down pact and fun, cute and sweet with baby Q or rather, I should say, kid Q. It also made me smile as you brought to mind the episode when they were reduced to children, one of my favorite shows. Well done!

I'm glad you let Guinan be more compassionate this time, she's such a genuinely good person in general, she was only ruthless with the Borg, with excellent reason, and with Q, with no explained reason.

I too am a little lost on the background of this. It's still very good, and almost reads like a script or screenplay.

Wow! What a great story, I wish you would continue it. It would be vastly interesting to see where and how Q does at different intervals in his life growing up mortal.

Wow... I came expecting a huge clash between Guinan and Q, but this was actually really sweet. It does help, to see Q as a child. It makes him more forgivable and relatable. It's also very nice to see the old enmity between the two begin to be patched up.

Really, this was awesome. I'm sorry I don't have any constructive criticism, because I thought the whole thing was great; but I thought you'd enjoy a positive review anyway, even if it is short.

My only suggestion is that you expand on this idea of Guinan and Q becoming close; I'm curious as to how that would play out over a long term.

If you haven't already, I seriously hope you plan to get a book published someday. You could very easily do it (probably make a good bit of money, too).
