Very sweet - pardon the pun! I love little vignettes that show something about the characters, and your story confirms what I've always suspected: that Hoshi and Jonathan have a much closer, relaxed relationship/friendship than what we saw in the series.

Loved the line about Jonathan explaining things to people who already knew them, and the idea that eating the box of chocolates was like exploring.
