| WhoAteMyEnchilada chapter 1 . 8/24/2014
I'm so glad someone got it right. everyone who has ocd has it differently but it hurts us all. The line "sometimes it hurts" really made me wanna write this because i have struggled with ocd. it keeps me up at night and distracts me at school. and i thought you did a really good job at describing it because sometimes i just sit down and cry because no i dont want to run downstairs in the middle of the night a billion times to make sure that yes, the stove is off and lock the windows 5 times because i dont want to live that way... sorry bout that... errrr, great story...
| sd4ianto chapter 1 . 4/7/2013

Absolutely lovely dissection of their relationship. So kindly done.
| Fai Gensou chapter 1 . 2/23/2012
Technically he only has a few of the diagnostic symptoms, and it does not prevent him from being functional or causes distress. If he had to do something everyday multiple times to the point of not being functional (working, etc), then it's a problem.
| PadawannaB chapter 1 . 11/29/2011
Wonderful, very emotional and powerful. A good read! :)
| funkyorange chapter 1 . 8/21/2011
This is wonderful. It really shows Ianto how I see him. Thank you for writing this and taking the time to read this review.
| artemis chapter 1 . 5/18/2011
This story is amazing. I loved the style it was written in, as well as the realistic reflection of OCD and how it can impact a life. I know so many people who brush it off as a quirk of personality, not realizing that it is a serious behavioral disorder. I appreciate your story for both its content and its quality. well done and please keep writing.
| Spazzer Monkey chapter 1 . 5/11/2011
I really enjoyed this; a very touching way of dealing with a topic that, if mentioned at all, is usually mentioned derisively. Great story!
| Tea-girl.Janto chapter 1 . 12/25/2010
Awesome, i really like this. i have faved and added u to author favourites and subscribed :) i searched Ianto OCD hoping for a fic like this and i found you. i must have been lucky cause all your stories are what i think of. :D love it! i would like SOMEONE to write another one about ianto's ocd...maybe you could write another one? ;) just a suggestion :)
| milkteethbabydoll chapter 1 . 12/15/2010
Oh, this was just beautiful. Sometimes it does hurt, the OCD. I've struggled with it for years and never seems to get better. There's the good days and the bad days, the kind where my family has to literally drag me away from my bookcases because I've been organizing for hours... -sighs- This was extremely realistic and original. I loved it.
| Indigo1100 chapter 1 . 12/4/2010
Wow! This is an amazing story. A fascinating view on Ianto, and an amazing view on a psychological problem. Even when you know, factually, that those are serious, pervasive things that effect a person's entire life, it can be hard to actually realize what this means, and this- wow. Uncomfortable during the whole video because of the volume, not even really being able to tell what he feels about Suzie because of the stopwatch, expressing his giref about Lisa by scrubbing the floor- wow. Wonderfully captured, wonderfully conveyed. And the memory of how people would laugh at him for it, a practical reminder that not everyone is tolerant. And the way that Jack does accept it, makes the changes that are needed, helps Ianto when he needs it, that moment after Lisa, comforting him in the end. Truly amazing story. Thanks!
