| absolute power chapter 1 . 6/25/2010 I don't often review things *guilt guilt guilt* but when I saw this and I checked out the number of reviews, I found them sorely lacking. You write brilliantly and the way you're setting out the plot is fantastic- I love how you characterise England as a rich but sensible gentleman (it's what I've been trying and failing to do in one of my fics, orz) and how you give him a sweeter, softer side that he doesn't allow anyone else to see. Alfred is absolutely charming, and so is Francis! I'm not too big a fan of Seychelles because I've never really seen her character developed in many US/UK stories, so I'll have to wait and see how she turns out- but I like the way you're going here and I'm sure she'll turn out awesome. Hope you get more reviews! This fic really deserves it :D |
