I liked that you didn't go scene by scene but rather had one cohesive, flowing introspective story. Something like this might work well in 1st person perspective so you could add a little more of their own mannerisms and speech in their.
Still an excellent story that is definitely favorited.

Obviously a great perspective choice seeing as how Astrid has a better view of the things happening around Hiccup who always things going on.
Further into the story I was getting Goosebumpy with the events seeing them through Astrid's eyes and there's a lot of emotion there. Whoo!

A very good one-shot!
I really like your deep insight in Astrid's character about her feelings about Hiccup :)

This was flippin' amazing! I can't believe it took me this long to get around to reading it. It fit so well into the world of the movie with that intense Astrid focus. I LOVE getting inside the heads of characters, and you did a great job here. You totally nailed her personality!
I like the different events you focus upon. You always began them with the same tough Astrid and then just dove into her feelings and her reactions and even how she changes. I think that's a great theme to this story, how you changes over the course of it. She has such a practical-if-unromantic perspective of marriage at the beginning of the story and she really develops into more of a, well, girl! as this goes on.
Your writing was lovely. Gorgeous, even.
I can't get over how sweet this was!
