Very nice. It's like a journal Edward wrote himself, telling everything about himself without anyone being the wiser. He'd never say so much to anyone, but in a journal, sure. He'd write out his frustrations and say as much about himself as he was comfortable without feeling foolish. Very nice, indeed.

Edward's really smart I like him!

I feel slightly guilty loving the "Ed is a prodigy" angle on this story so much, but it's hardly ever discussed in the manga or the anime and it absolutely has to be true. I also feel really bad for Al. I mean, he's got to be quite smart himself, much smarter than the average person, but when you live with an older sibling who's smarter/quicker/cleverer/whatever than you, it's hard to feel like you're anything special. (And Al totally is, he's incredible! He's probably more amazing than Edward, just in a quieter way.) Having an older sibling that's overtly smart can be a smothering thing. I know because I am one... Very cute! I love the very last two sentences especially! They really tie the whole thing together. .

Awesome story! I loved the way you portrayed Ed in this story.
I can sort of see Ed thinking this.
Well done on a great story!
