Having read some of your other works, I've found that you're remarkably good at writing genii. Is this a self-portrait, or a "write what you know"? I wouldn't be surprised. You are that good. I'd go into a long gush about how wonderful your writing is and how well you capture the character you set out to in every sentence they say or think - but I think that would be silly and unnecessary. I simply wish to thank you for writing what you have.

I love you're fic :) Artemis is very in-character and the story seems like something that could be cannon.

The most simple reason for empathy is that you live a longer life if you are in tune with those around you. Birds go around in flocks for exactly that reason.

Really enjoyed this one. The psychiatrist came across like a real human being and someone who does his job with passion and idiosyncrasy and humanity. I was sad that Artemis didn't continue the sessions with him at the end, frankly. Good psychiatrists are hard to come by, I would have stuck with the guy :D. I LOLed a few times, which always elevates stories for me, so thank you for this story. I was fascinated by it :).

I'm not sure how realistic this is [cause I'm no expert], but I really enjoyed Banks' approach to Artemis. He's very frank, and careful to keep facts and rumors separate. He tries to be non-bias [he succeeds]. He's able to accept & take into account that Artemis is super smart, etc etc.
Aish, my reviews suck. Oh well! The point is, I like Banks, I like your story, and I'll probably like you.
