|Reviews for Catch & Release|
| Jysshio chapter 23 . 10/25/2013
That was an amazing story. I mean really, everything was explained and it all progressed so well. The romance developed perfectly too. So, two things to say 1. Why doesn't this story have more reviews? It's so deserving of soooo many more reviews. 2. Are you planning on writing a second story, like a sequel or an entirely different one altogether? Because I'd love to read it if it's anything like this. Amazing job, and I hope you keep it up.
| Fragile Dream chapter 22 . 10/17/2013
I read this a long time ago before I had an account. I love it, it's just so sweet. After all, zombies need love too XD This should have many, many more reviews. Good WoW stories are hard to come by, and this is definitely one of the best I've read :)
| Nom de Plume chapter 23 . 5/16/2013
There is definitely... certainly.. something wrong going on when you see a story -this- good having only -this- many reviews. I can honestly - HONESTLY - say that this story should have easily garnered /at least/ 200 reviews. If WoW ffn was as popular as the actual game, I'm sure that would have been the case because girly, I've read a LOT of amazing stories - and some of the horribles - on this site for... almost a decade now so I believe I can back up my claim when I say that this story is definitely a gem.
Your writing talent obviously shows here and as for your earlier concern, the characterization and pacing was definitely realistic. The development of their relationship, the worries, crazy tension, & back&forth nature of that creature we call Love... you nailed it on the head and right through the board.
I like how you alternated between the flashbacks of the start of their relationship to the present nature of it. At first, I was a bit put off by that, since usually I don't like knowing the 'future' of the relationship before I read the actually beginning but after the first two chapters, I found myself looking forward to learning about both past and present.
I've never attempted myself but writing a romance story between a living being & a ... 'dead' being certainly is no easy feat I'm sure. Of course how you wrote this, it's easy to forget that he is an undead but you also kept in mind the concerns and problems that follow with this kind of 'race.' And I appreciate your sensitivity to these kind of details.
Thank-you for sharing this work and for completing it in the end. The only thing I could for more in the future are more interesting protagonists perhaps? Don't get me wrong, these two showed a distinct personality and were extremely realistic but I just felt... a certain lackluster that comes with this realism, so yeah, what a nitprick I am for wanting realism but outrageous characters as well, right? I don't know, perhaps it can be an excuse for a writing exercise, non?
And of course, I wasn't about to bother to mention this since the other reviewers have done it so well already but there were repetitive chapters and random underlined/bolded chapters but having seen all kinds of styles since my time on this site... those were easy to look over. But just for the sake of the flow of the story, I'd say that if you ever have time, just be careful with that.

You did it! I didn't think a forsaken could actually "fall" in love in a story with out really...becoming a necrophiliac. But you did it with out the eww, and a whole lot of "hell yes!" I loved your story, and I give you props on writing more!
| Chemistry chapter 23 . 12/16/2012
This fic should have a lot more reviews than it does. It's positively wonderful and I stayed up all night to read it. I fell in love with your characters. Thank you so much for such a great read! (Kinda want to read more about what comes after this eppy! Maybe short little slice-of-life fics?)
| JackalChan chapter 23 . 2/21/2012
I have to say this is one of the best cross-faction stories I've ever read and I return to it again and again when I tire of sifting through the sub-par stories. Jehann is an amazing representation of a Forsaken in love, I am really sad to see that this story doesn't have more reviews! I for one am saddened by the lack of love for undead men... keep writing darling, you've definitely got a talent.

A very good story, on the whole. Good plot, good character development, and excellent plot progression. My only complaint is that it is... A little unprofessional. In writing, you're not supposed to use the ampersand (&), and you're supposed to write numbers out. Additionally, there are several chapters that seem to be repeated, and one or two are out of order.
I still enjoyed your story quite a bit, don't get me wrong, it's just that they seem to be simple errors that a quick proofread could fix.
| Ruvian chapter 23 . 11/5/2011
wow it's really amazing story :)
at first i didn't even read your story because it looks like boring
but because i didn't have anything to do and i'm fucking bored i read your story, and guess what? I REALLY LIKE YOUR STORY and i'm glad that i spend my time reading your story over and over again :) keep up writing. i really can't wait to read another story :)
| nights-black-hue chapter 23 . 10/22/2011
THAT WAS AMAZING! You need to upload more, I don't think i've been this excited and exhilarated during and after a story on this site in a while. Absolutely beautiful.
| Rin Koorbloh chapter 22 . 7/8/2011
the characters were so... perfect...
loved the ongoing gag with the cow :)
and the ending too... such perfection can't be praised enough. so uh... -gives you a gold star-
| Kthelmir chapter 23 . 5/14/2011
Really awesome story, honestly surprised there aren't more reviews for the great piece of work. Only thing that mildly bothered me was that the chapter order seemed a bit strange at times, with repeated chapters and so. Ignoring that, however, the content was great!
| Bamfbugboy chapter 23 . 3/21/2011
Oh my god I love this story so heartfeltly. I will be rereading it sometime, and there are only some stories that I deem worthy of rereading. Wonderful work, a job most well done.
| Mdnight chapter 22 . 1/2/2011
What a great story! Very enjoyable read. I'll never look at a Forsaken the same again!
| rnc4 chapter 23 . 10/31/2010
I really loved this story-it was believable, and I love how much thought you put into the turmoil that must go on behind the scenes for the Forsaken as they try to leave their families and lives behind them when they "wake." One thing that does need a little bit of work is the chapters-they are not only out of order, some of them seem to have repeated (for example, as far as I could tell, 14 and 16 were identical). I used the #'s given by , not the chapter titles for this.
I look forward to any other stories you choose to share, and thank you for this one!
| Mythlor chapter 22 . 8/9/2010
What a great story, although there the chapters were out of order... and there were repeats of some sections that confused the hell out of me.
