OH MY GOD I CAN'T EVEN-
Alright, I do realize that due to the awesomeness of this oneshot, you've got a lot of reviews telling you how awesome this is and how perfect and IC and pretty much leaving nothing for me to say, so I don't think one more review would make much of a difference...
But OH MY GOD I couldn't resist the urge to tell you how epic and extraordinary this story is. I spent 72 hours trying to find this one shot just so I could tell you how much I adore it. Kudos. Seriously, you're amazing.
| Devin Trinidad chapter 1 . 4/21/2014
Headcanon, totally accepted. Basically, this is the back story that Narita conveniently forgot to tell us. This was to good to be true, but you definitely pulled of the character, his ambitions, and how malicious he can be. Definitely one of the best character studies I have ever read. Kudos!
| Musette du Coudray chapter 1 . 3/15/2014
in the end, even his name's a lie
| Imaginary Heaven chapter 1 . 1/5/2014
I never thought that coming across the perfect Izaya-centric Fanfiction was within the realm of possibility . . . until now, that is. Sheer brilliance on your part; I enjoyed every word of this creative, quirky tale of Orihara Izaya. You have officially acquired the position of one of my top five favourite authors.

Wow, that is so... Izaya, and by Izaya I mean its like this story nit picks into the brain of the infamous informat of shinjuku Izaya Orihara. Its so fascinating how he started out. Haha if I didn't know that this was a fanfiction that i'm looking at right now, I would have definitely believed this was his childhood history. but seriously. wow. waw... and I like how you got into detail about where his jacket came from.. everything in this story is so original, and authentically believable...
| Edainwen chapter 1 . 12/1/2013

| Levaya Jade chapter 1 . 11/13/2013
I absolutely love this. I'm giddy right now, thank you so much for actually writing an in character Izaya. I was beginning to think there was none in the fandom. You did a great job.
| Higanbana.4 chapter 1 . 6/6/2013
Woah, so cute. Feels realistic. A little sad that Mairu and Kururi didn't show up, but that's alright.
| FandomNut chapter 1 . 4/7/2013
This is so IC it's scary. This could have been included in that Shizuo episode and totally fit in. Amazing. Izaya is just so...Izaya in this. I love it! I love how you didn't try to rewrite his character. And that ending...rotfl.
| TrackerIsHere chapter 1 . 3/10/2013
That was the end?
I liked it...
| Chromaticist chapter 1 . 2/11/2013
You know, I've read so many fics about Izaya that my image of him is most likely very distorted. Usually in fanfiction (especially Shizaya), he's portrayed as more of a teasing character who is misunderstood, which, now that I think about it, probably isn't very accurate at all. This does seem like something he would actually do, and the story is incredibly well-thought-out (is that how you properly hyphenate it?). Not to say that I like this darker side of Izaya (I don't, really) but this is justsogoodthatIcan'tsayanythingaboutit.
